World Li Remake Suggestion

Ok so the current li is honestly kinda boring
it's "hi boss man plz die" for literally all of them (except yahyabot that one is unique sorta)
also avoid the minions

Also, the boss arenas are totally bland
literally the same thing every time almost

there should be sort of themed arenas.
ok lets start off with suggestions for the mummyboard
Make the arena a tomb like structure
certain part of the floor will become unsafe via particle telegraphing. The floor will be "poison" for a brief time (will have a poison effect, like the ID) and certain parts of the floor will do this every so often.

For Virus Doctor:
Make the arena like the boss altar, a lab.
A giant flask will be to the side and will launch explosive potion bottles every few seconds. (bursts of 4)
Certain "barricades" will be on the map. Every now and again, there will be a "plague", which will be a bunch of arrows probably, simulating locusts flying in egypt.

For Corkus Accipientis:
The floor will change, giving certain buffs and debuffs at the same time3

For Matrojan Idol:
The arena should be a jungle temple. Every so often, a circular wall gas releases and the wall of gas will close down until its pretty claustrophobic. (every class has a stun or knockback ability) and this could be telegraphed.

For Yahyabot:
to be honest its ok as is

For death metal: (this one is my favorite)
Make it a speaker system in the back, and a sound will play every so often signaling the activation of the speakers. you activate a barricade like in decrepit sewers to block the huge soundwave.
if you dont get there in time then you get knocked back/upwards and you take damage.

For mechorrupter of worlds:
Robotic minions will sometimes arise forcing you to divert your attention off of mechorrupter
(like the dead army in the corrupter's cave) except they're robots

For robob:
A giant cluckles, moonington, and baab statue will be present.
Every once in a while, it will summon an invincible robotic baab, moonington, or cluckles.
these animal men will pack quite the punch but selfdestruct after 20seconds.

For cybel:
enough chaos here with the rc cybels and disintegrators here fellas

For dr legendary:
make it the only normal bossfight xd

I honestly just came here to do death metal but might as well do the other ones

 

Death Metal is awesome. Anything with music involved is good

For Robob, have bob's pets come and help you in the fight

 

For corkus accipientis, arena changes floor space and size, as well as differences in elevation.

For robob, same arena as bob but the castle is a full fortress that fires explosives.

Because most of the bosses will be harder in one way or another should the bosses themselves be nerfed a little?

 

How about simulated corruption? Like, at random intervals parts of the room give various debuffs (slowness, nausea, blindness, weakness, fire)

add a sword statue to every side. At random intervals, a sword will swing down and cut through the center of the arena, damaging and knocking back anyone it hits

A shifting floor. Like, parts of it will be soul sand, and parts will be slime blocks, etc. and they randomly change in size and shape. Also, maybe some moving barricades?

have you seen all the help me with li thread and builds for li threads, making it harder isnt going to help which is what all of these do

 

LI isn’t meant to be easy, it’s not called a hardcore challenge for nothing

Slowness and weakness are fine, but I feel like the others are unfair. Remember when Canary Calls was first released, everyone complained about the nausea parkour until the nausea effect was finally removed?

No. Cybel is already unfair as it is, this will just make it harder

As for the suggestion itself, I agree with it

 

then why are they making it harder
and apparently it is super ez could do it in my sleep if you have the right build

 

I'm mostly fine with yahabot, but it's somewhat annoyingly long... if they made each section 5 - 10 seconds shorter (or maybe more than 10 seconds :D) it would feel far less tedious whilst maintaining the feel of the stage (yes ik it's meant to be an endurance survival boss but still though)

 

The key word “right” strengthens my argument. That’s the whole point of LI. If you have a bad build, you’ll die, if you have the right build that works, you’ll get through it fine

And, as for these new arenas making LI harder, the bosses themselves could be nerfed, as someone suggested before

 

ok so anyone who doesnt have a perfect build is 100% going to fail, and then there will be even less variation in the builds capable for solo li

 

it's a hardcore challenge that you AREN'T supposed to solo. The WHOLE POINT of SOLOING LI is to show off how great your PERFECT BUILD IS. Otherwise you can just run it with friends (or be a mage).

There’s no such thing as a “perfect” build, maybe when apoc abuse and double hive still existed, but not anymore. For example, I soloed LI with this build. I understand it’s not perfect, in fact it has really bad defenses (I should probably replace Warchief with galleon and dia fiber neck with Dia hydro neck) but you get the idea

you can with like a full unique build according to IMs etc
but thats hard

I know li items are good
they're good becasue they're meant to be hard to get
these shouldn't be grindable
a challenge is a challenge for a reason
