World Uth Shrine Timer

Honestly, the Uth Shrine timer is complete BS.
You get a grand total of 50 seconds to kill a boss. It may be super tanky, it may be invis and run at light speed, it may hit super hard, but of course none of that is relevant! It's completely balanced to force a player to kill a 100k+ health boss in under a minute!

Honestly though, this is bullshit. Especially for builds that are tanks; they specialize in dealing out damage slowly but surely, and not dying. But of course that doesn't matter, let's just make this impossible for tank builds!

Especially for the form that specializes in air. The Zephra boss is almost impossible to kill within that short time span, as it spams invis and runs around insanely fast. Of course, players can kill it easily, but not-so-easily within 50 seconds.

 

You do realize that after 50 seconds is when the walls drop and the smaller mobs disappear, and that you can still fight the Uth Boss to get your runes? I've never beaten him in the 50 second time limit lol. Unless they literally changed that in like, the last 3 days...

 

The boss disappears. I posted this thread after testing 5 times :p Every time, the boss simply vanishes along with your chance to get the Uth Runes

 

Are you using the shrine in Aldorei or Corkus? I've grindind over 2 stacks of Uth runes in my time and never had this happen. I'll log onto the server in a few hours and try it again now.

But if for some reason this is the case now, then yeah it'd need WAY more than 50 seconds to beat the Uth boss for most players.

 

i actually usually kill the boss in like 20 seconds so it gets annoying waiting the next 30 seconds

but i can see how it would be annoying if the boss despawns just like that for those who can't kill it like that

I've been using the shrine in Aldorei

 

I’ve never had this problem with the Avos shrine, so you should use that for the time being.

If it disappears in the aldorei shrine after 50 seconds, then it should be changed to be like the Avos shrine

 

This issue has only ever occurred on 2 out of 5 routes, and that was fixed months ago. Just now, I went through the systems for every route on both areas twice, and found out that there's nothing left that's able to kill the bosses.

So, are you sure you know which mobs are the actual round bosses, and that they didn't either escape the area, or get stuck somewhere?

 

I'm 90% sure. I tested 5 times, and every single time the boss was gone. However, I'm not as certain anymore since I realized that as the Zephra boss can move extremely fast, it may fall out of the arena while invis. However, both the Alka boss and the Thunder boss disappeared as well after the walls drop, and the Alka boss doesn't go invis and is particularly slow

 

Also, the Uth arenas are balanced to be fought with a group, not alone. In a group those bosses are perfectly feasible to kill within 50 seconds.

 

But what if I have no friends, or they aren't online?

This was Salted's decision, not mine. The uth bosses aren't meant to disappear after 50 seconds anyways, only the minions, which is strange...but still.

 

How many good descision did Salted actually made?
Let's remember he's the guy who denied anyone but himself of making and balancing mythics. He's also the guy who refused to immediately fix aft Amadel grinding.
There are probably more "questionable" things he did, but I can't recall any.

 

So you are asking what good decisions salted made but you are quoting some decisions that you think were bad..?

Why not talk about the fact that without him, wynncraft would most likely haven't have existed, or wouldn't have gotten to that point...

Take the best person in the world, say what things he did wrong only, and he'll appear like one of the worst person ever...

 

Well you didn't provide me with information about anything good he has done.
Also, using the argument that if not for him Wynncraft wouldn't exsist so everything else he did wrong is ok, is stupid, becouse then I cn say that it's okay for Noch for creating EULA which fucked over many server greatly, for releaseing many bad updates over the years, and even selling Mojang to Microsoft, which is pimping out minecraft like some expensive whore.

I respect your opinion on not being able to talk about more then one subject, but.. I actually don't mind staying on topic, but instead of trying to get away from the conversation we can just start a conversation.

 

If so, this is likely just a bug, since the staff members and everyone else is pretty much confused as well.
