World Customizable Teleportation Scrolls

So, I have a suggestion. Currently, there are teleport scrolls for dungeons and cities. But what if you could teleport anywhere instantly? My suggestion is customizable teleport scrolls. They would cost a lot, as they would be pretty overpowered. Perhaps 1 LE per scroll? They would be available in all the cities for this same price. When clicking with them in your hand, there will be a chat message saying-
Please set a territory for this scroll by typing it in chat.
I know this is possible, as the bank search option works like this too, by requiring you to type something in chat. After typing your selected territory, your scroll would become a teleportation scroll for that territory. If this is added in, a specific location within each territory would have to be selected. Also, some new territories might need to be added. However, it can fail under two circumstances. If you enter a territory that is above your level (to prevent getting into high-level areas that could benefit you), you will get this message-
A mystical aurora prevents you from writing this territory. Maybe you should go to a territory you have discovered before.
If you enter something that is not a territory, such as complete nonsense, a command, or a territory but spelled wrong, you will get this message-
The scroll does nothing. Try writing a territory correctly.
If your message succeeds, your scroll will be usable. These teleportation scrolls have 1 use, and cost 3 soul points. Below, I have provided some examples of what these scrolls would be useful for.

• You want to go grind in Freezing Heights, but you are in the Tower of Ascension after just finishing a floor. You use your scroll to get near Freezing Heights. (I didn’t see a territory labeled Freezing Heights on the map.)
• A group of people are about to attempt Orange Wybel, and someone shouts about it. You are in Detlas doing some selling. You go to their server, and use your scroll to get to the Wybel Island territory.
• You are doing a quest that involves Maro Peaks (Reincarnation, Zhight Island, Ice Nations.) You put on your climbing helmet and use your scroll to get to the territory.

After teleporting with one of these scrolls, you will get a chest penalty as if you just joined a world after opening chests on another world. This can be a good money sink and can help people get to certain locations quicker, but people won’t use it too much, as it is costly. It would only be used for places that you really need to get to. Please tell me your feedback, and also, tell me your examples of what you would use this for.

 

Highly abusable when it comes to the economy. They'd have to be seriously expensive to be viable.

 

I say the scrolls are single use, just like every other type, and you have to bind them to a place that you are standing at before you use them. Maybe even make them reset chest timer as well.

 

Always though of this, but having this could be RIGGED, you could skip whole puzzle sections... It's kinda broken... And secondly, If you can't get somewhere just because of your level... I'll just get a white horse for a level 1, and ride there without getting hit. The price would have to range inbetween 1-5 LE if it was a 1 time, and a reusable one would be ∞ LE, And it should cost more then 3 SP, more like 5 or 6. Yea, great idea but wayyy too overpowered.

 

I can see this being good if you want to get into a guild war but not really great anything else... I think that people can easily glitch out of the map by TPing on top of a mountain or simply glitching out somehow. Not a lot of people will use it to get from place to place because who remembers the coordinates of freezing heights off of their head? (if you do remember the cords than good job)

However It can be improved by adding more restrictions on it.

 

Could be used to get out of the map and to other places you shouldn’t be.

No, that’s why I mentioned the scroll preventing you from teleporting off map, so you couldn’t teleport to quest areas or dungeons.

Well, I’m not sure if it’s possible, but like I said, it could prevent you from teleporting off the map, and perhaps also from teleporting to the border mountains.

 

I’ve increased the soul points, price, and made it so you cannot open loot chests for a little bit.

I don’t know about having to be at the location to set the scroll, as you could not know that you want to go somewhere, and then you’ll have to go there anyway on foot if you need to set the scroll at a location. I’ll make it so you have to have visited the territory that area is in. And single use I don’t like, and I did just raise the price, too.

first of all, i think it should be you have to go to the location where you want to set
because then i could just warp myself into CSST and get loads of xp
i did see you defending yourself by saying it has to be on the map
but like
i could list off a bunch of areas that the devs don't want you to be in early game
- Eastern Gavel
- Corkus
- Sky Islands
- Dern (it's technically on the map)

i could look up some cordinates and get past the game much quicker
If they allowed you to do this, then no one will experience the game
they will just warp to some absurd and abusable place and grind
i could in theory teleport into a wall with this method
and if im a mage, my attacks go thru blocks, meaning just bring some 101 peeps, xp bombs, totems, and just hit a few mobs
exp sharing comes in and you gain massive levels quickly

First off, you do know that the ??? meteors aren't actually very high up in the air.
It may seem like it, but it's not
Please do research on basic minecraft knowledge before making a suggestion

Here's how it works
When you complete the ??? puzzles, a command block teleports you to an offmap area, the meteors, where you do some stuff
if you fall, your actually landing on barrier blocks, and they teleport you very high up in lake gylia.
It gives off a poor illusion that you are high up in the air

The warning that is given off isn't descriptive enough
Gameplay over lore, it's basically a command
I know they like to do lore n' stuff, but like you don't know the problem this way

it's hard to detect your level and determine the exact rating level of where your going
What if someone found a wall that has no set level, what if someone teleported there

Most of these are just the lazy way out
Bullet 1: Just carry rodoroc scrolls (why the heck are you doing tower of ascension at lvl 90-100 you should have completed it at around 75)
Bullet 2: people gather for wybel. This is a reason why i don't like it. You don't have to try to go anywhere
"oh hey fam i see u bout to fite qira" Instead of walking like a functioning player, young Jimmy decided to use his 1 le scroll to warp to the hive.
That's ruining a good game
your skipping the hard work the devs and content team put into their game.
It's not fun to skip through everything

Instead of thinking on how im going to get to the island (boat, seaskipper, swim, selchar scroll - swim) instead i just warp past all the beauty in the ocean. Not cool.

all 3 of your bullets go against it
who cares about chests if your not loot running
and if you are loot running, loot runners/loot run creators just make the starting location an area with a scroll (dungeon, city, etc.)

Instead of going through all the puzzles that were created by hard work and coding, he could skip it all, get the mythic, and live with it without any consequences.

It’s very difficult to determine where you should and shouldn’t be able to and would take forever for it to just not be worth it. You’d have to make areas like bobs tomb, temple of legends and much much much more

 

Why not make it use your soul points?

Uhh...I don’t understand what you are saying. They do cost soul points to use. Also, I said there would need to be a system in place to prevent going off the map.

 

These are still pretty OP. Maybe reuse tower of amnesia as the only place you can buy the scrolls (like you forgot where you were), or add functionality to the temple of time to bring you to a place you've already visited for a short amount of time? Also, please make them single use.

Also, make sure that you can't teleport to a place you haven't already been, or a lvl 50 might spend their first LE on a scroll and go to rodoroc, unable to return to anywhere without dying.

 

Wouldn't people be able to use it in a dungeon, Tower of Ascension, or anything similar? Also, these scrolls will take away from the point of exploring the map.

From what I'm getting, you can only go places you have been to; but, couldn't you just have a high-level character that has explored most of the map and travel to where they have been?

For example, you can put a level 50 or under in the Temple of the Legends, or higher-leveled areas of Gavel.

 

I completely revamped my suggestion. It is no longer coordinates, but territories that you can teleport to.

 

I guess the idea seems more ideal, but what if someone teleports to a region with a lot of mob NPCs? If they die, that's more Soul Points wasted, and the scroll just becomes useless.

 

I don’t understand what you are saying. What are mob NPCs? And if they are that level, why would they die quickly?
