Suggestions For Shouts

I know you have already color coded the chat tags in the game to make it easier for players, but can you maybe change the colors of guild chat or shouts? they are currently both the same color and it gets confusing. If this was extended to item tier coloring, it could make mythics stand out. Another benefit of this is that it could be used to help those who are color blind.

A good suggestion from responses to this thread is to make the colors able to be picked, and so doing make them more, or less, noticeable.

The original 2nd suggestion was to make shouts toggle able, this was met with a lot of criticism.(thanks btw) Instead of this, my new suggestion is to make it possible to block a player, or just a message that another player uses every few minutes.

I would love to see the colours changed as I generally do not read the first part of the text to see whether it's from the guild or a shout.

As for toggling the shouts I would be up for this also due to the pointless spam but as you said, it's part of their income so probably not as they are meant to be used to be heard by everyone.

 

Shouts are meant to exist so that everyone ingame sees it. Just remove the second suggestion it breaks the point of shouts.

Then for the second one, I understand your point, but the thing is that people that buy and then use their shouts want the whole server to see their messages...
Take that off of them and the amount of bought shouts would go down by a lot.

So,
Suggestion 1 : Yes
Suggestion 2 : No

You should add a poll, this is what I would write :
"Do you want (one of) these suggestions to be added?"

- Yes for both
- Yes only for suggestion 1
- Yes only for suggestion 1 but...
- Yes only for suggestion 2
- Yes only for suggestion 2 but...
- No for both

You can remove the but, but I think its better to have (also, only give 1 answer)

 

As I said in my reply, it is highly unlikely we will be able to toggle shouts however, the amount of pointless spam constantly flooding the screen from the same people is just too annoying as you miss important messages from whispers, guild members and such.

I agree with most the people here. Change either guild color or shout color (green?) but don't make shouts toggleable. Also, add a poll with these options.
