Being Able To Sell Powders To Powder Merchants.

Powders are a very useful part of the game, but after a while you just get too many of them. I suggest you should be able to sell them to either powder merchants or maybe item buyers if that is more appropriate. I suggest that the selling prices should be something like this.

Tier One = 5e
Tier Two = 25e
Tier Three = 2eb
Tier Four = 10eb
Tier Five = 50eb
Tier Six = 4le

If this sounds a bit high please do tell me. I know that this won't be added but I think it is a nice idea.

What do you think of the prices? Too much or too little?

 

1. Powders are 4x the lower tier. With this, it'd look like
- T1: 5e
- T2: 20e
- T3: 1eb 16
- T4: 5eb
- T5: 20eb
- T6: 1le 16eb

2. Ingame venders usually buy less than market price, so chances are yours would have to be lowered (maybe to what I did or even lower).

 

Thank you, I know that you need 4x the powders to make the next one but I made the prices a bit higher becuase you need to find four of the same type. I do think that my jump in price from T2 to T3 is too high though, so your may be a bit better. I read up that the prices for powder at T6 is like 5le? So that's why I made it lower. Not 100% sure though. Thanks for replying.

 

honestly it's not even a problem with the venders
market price is just super high
there's just been so much inflation that the venders are actually selling for perfect prices and the market is just really expensive

so yeah the vender sell price for this is too high, but thats just because it goes off market price which is just way too high

 

I think that T6 is too much, but then you have to remember the x4 value. Are T1 powders really worth less than 5 emeralds?

 

I personally think the npc should buy the T6s for 3le (divide by 4 for other Tiers). This is 1le less than the market price, so players can still get decent money but would be encouraged to interact with the player market to get more le for the powdes.

I feel that this is a nice balance, and any feedback to my point is appreciated.

 

You cannot buy powders from a merchant so why on earth should you be able to sell them to them ? However to be able to sell powders via the Item Buyer would be a nice addition.

 

That works just as well but what is your opinion on the prices?

I agree with StormKing3, however instead of selling them to those regular item buyers.

Add a handful of Witch NPCs located in the wilderness. These witches can have little huts, like the junk vendors for example. The player simply approaches the Witch and the player can drop the powders into the witchies cauldron (hopper) and the player gets his reward. (StormKing3's price list - Perhaps T6 payout of 4LE is a little too much. Perhaps 1LE)

 

Now that sounds pretty smart!

But it would feel weird having a witch chilling at a hut in the middle of Alumji or rodoroc...

However I could definitely see a witch being in the Nivala forest, the Light forest, maybe in the Nessak forest too!
