Something For Slower Readers...

As you probably know, Wynncraft has this sort of auto play thing when it comes to reading quests. For slower readers, this can be harsh on them. Maybe if there was a toggle option of going at your own pace. (Ex. Being able to click on the NPC without having it go automatically) Also, this doesn’t just affect slow readers, anybody can be hit with the dilemma of the quest going too fast.

This isn't really worth the time it will take. The text is already super slow, and the chat can hold a lot of text before it's deleted. It really isn't going fast enough to require either slowing everything down or even a slower setting, especially since the second one would take an enormous amount of time and debugging.

 

Well... If they make it longer people will abuse even the more the fact when a NPC talks to you mobs forget about your existence...

I personally think the lines move too slowly
I wish they were faster

 

You can speed up the lines by keep right clicking the NPCs when they are talking
(But this method does not work on the NPCs that will move)

 

When the NPC is done talking, simply go to a safe spot then press T or the Right Slash button to read the dialogue

 

For me it feels too slow for quest like Studing The Corrupt or Memory Paraniona. Also the quest-book tells you what to do if its too fast for you.

 

Forgive me if this has been suggested before but why not use the World of Warcraft system for quest text and objectives ? On running to the NPC and meeting all requirements to start that quest the player gets greeted by the NPC and gets given a book. This book is untradeable, non-droppable but get's removed on quest finish. If the quest contains multiple NPC greetings then the book can be removed and then replaced in the players inventory with the updated quest text.

This is of course a lot of work and there has been something similar to this before. World of Warcraft has it right, but this isn't World of Warcraft this is Minecraft. The fact that they've got an actual quest system working with automated text is amazing and we should appreciate it. It's perfectly natural to want more and more but instead of trying to perfect things let's actually expand the world by adding more dangerous places and monsters to visit and kill rather than wasting time trying to improve something that already works nicely. You will learn to read faster the more you read and you can always screenshot the quest text or visit the wiki which has every quest in Wynncraft.

 

No need. Just read it later by pressing t... like most people are saying. Or go on the wiki and read the dialogue from the quest there. That's what I did with Qira when we were rushing through it my very first time. I skipped all the text and went on the wiki to read it.

 

I want it to go faster so i can finish redoing 100% on all my classes faster
