World The Old Wynn

I've been a play of wynncraft since 2011 or 2012. I love all the quests and all this new stuff but maybe the idea of creating a seperate server where there were no quests, just wynn (or different map) where all you did was fight monsters to level up. The wynn I miss and love had a smaller map and the way you earned EXP points was through dungeons and killing monsters, and of course you can't forget the zombie invasions. My suggestion is not to take away any of what wynn has now, but to add a server or two where you can level up seperately, a server where quests and guilds weren't a thing, and it had our dearly missed zombie invasions. It would give a sense of nostalgia and would definitely appeal to those who don't like such a strict form of RPG.

 

Quests and guilds can be skipped for the most part if you don’t want to do them.

 

This has been suggested way too many times, I ask you to use the search bar and make sure that what your suggestion is doing has not been explained in other threads.

As for the actual, idea, my answer is no. 1. lag of two seperate servers. 2. it will be REALLY hard to replicate everything back to the old times.

 

That is not possible;Wynn has only been around since 2013-2014

The search bar is a helpful thing ya know. It's been explained several times why this'll most likely never happen:


1. The original Wynn ran on a much older version of minecraft, and the plugins from those times were really messy and laggy. Bringing back the versions would essentially require a full remake of the entire code.

2. If people just played on the old servers, having updates on the modern Wynn wouldn't be worth the effort, which could result in the server dying out. These servers would also need to be completely separate, requiring more storage space and computing power from the servers.

3. Many of the updates since the launch date of Wynn have had to happen due to changes made into minecraft's EULA. Bringing back old versions that included buyable advantages would result in the server getting blacklisted by Mojang.

4. An alternative way to having actual servers booted up would be a downloadable map, but it's quite obvious that we don't wan't people discovering stuff they were never supposed to see.
