Media Oh, How We've Changed...

This is all about honoring the changes Wynncraft has gone through. Enjoy.
Note: these are only the major updates.

1.0 Release Date

Quests
When Wynncraft was released, there were no quests.
Builds and Aesthetics
There was no texture, the builds were simple. The logo was different, it was simpler. There was no Gavel, Corkus, or part of the ocean.

Items
There was literally almost no item variation at all. Many items were unbalanced.
Gameplay
Sometimes it would be pretty laggy, grindy, and not very fun.
Dungeons
Simple. Too simple. There were only three dungeons, the skeleton dungeon (now Decrepit Sewers), the spider dungeon (now Infested Pit), and animal dungeon (now Lost Sanctuary).
1.5 (Unknown Name)
Quests
Still no quests.
Builds and Aesthetics
Only a few minor builds were added like the Pigball Arena and Corrupted Village.
Items
Untradable items are added, unique items now had to be identified.
Gameplay
Now there are swarms, dueling, /kill, soul point gain, easier trading, and more fixed bugs. Not the best, but better.
Dungeons
By this time, the Zombie Dungeon (now called Underworld Crypt) and Silverfish Dungeon (Sand-Swept Tomb) were added.
1.9 Quest Update

Quests
Now for the moment we've been waiting for: quests are added! However, they are simple and there aren't that many of them.
Builds and Aesthetics
Troms has been added! Yep, the jungle! But that's really it, besides blood looking better...
Items
The ordinary item mix...
Gameplay
The skill point system is added! But then again, that's still it...
Dungeons
Normal dungeons are still here. Just bug fixes.
1.10 Ocean Update

The ocean was added! Many new landmarks, like the Ice Islands, Ghost Ship, Maro Peaks, and Dern Isl- wait a minute...

This update marks a huge development in transport... HORSES! The level cap is also increased to 75.

Guess what? still the same.
1.11 (Unknown Name)
Quests
Three quests have been added. Bunches have been fixed. That's it.
Builds and Aesthetics
Selchar has been revamped, the Nether has been revamped, and there's a new island!
Items
Not much, except many new items were added.
Gameplay
Teleport scrolls! Item buyer! CUSTOM MUSIC!
Dungeons
GUESS WHAT? No change.
1.12 Mob Update
Quests
Not many quest changes.
Builds and Aesthetics
Oh my god, revamp hell. Ragni, Detlas, Ternaves, Nivla Woods, bridges, the Desert, Angry Village, Black Road, Nesaak, Nether Portal, Temple of the Legends, Elkurn, Mage Island, and the Great Bridge have all been redone. The Mesa, Rymek, Mt. Wynn and Dead Island, have all been added. However, some have been removed, like Dern Island, VIP Town, and the PVP Arena.
Items
Hey, this is a MOB update, not an item update ok? No changes. Almost.
Gameplay
The mob system has been completely redone! Mobs don't have to be enemies or living things now, they can perform spells, and there's a new health bar. Theres also a new rank: VIP+!
Dungeons
Every single dungeon has been redone. Now they need keys, and the Zombie Dungeon was moved to Ancient Nemract.
1.13 Wynnter 2014
Quests
11 new quests, and the infamous Tower of Ascension have been added!
Builds and Aesthetics
A new area in the ice region, called the Ice Canyon! Also the Delnar Manor in the Dernel Jungle!
Items
Nothing new.
Gameplay
GUILDS! Yep, thats right! Guilds have been added! Hopefully you know how guilds work...
Dungeons
Minidungeons! The Ice Dungeon, Jungle Dungeon, and Ocean Dungeon (I might not have said those right...).

GAVEL! A province 1/3 larger than Wynn! And heck, it looks awesome! There's also animations! There's also an updated logo!

Mythic weapons! The most powerful and rare weapons in game! There are also ACCESSORIES! Also the Element System!

Level cap increased to 100! A new mob AI system! Oh man, it's getting better and better...

Nothing big of a change.

A new dungeon! And one of the most favored by the community! Fallen Factory!

The nostalgia is incredible. I remember how, years ago, I was farming end game gear to sell, had like 40 LE and thought I was really rich.
Also, Bob's weapons best weapons.

I really miss the old days, but yet I'm happy with how Wynncraft has progressed.

Sorry for my nostalgic overflow, but this game's come a long way.

 

Back in my day there were massive lag spikes every 10 minutes, and server crashes that happened on 33% of those lag spikes. Now that was real challenge!

I don't miss it.
