Dungeons The Current State Of Csst

Hey guys, J_mun here, and before you yell at me and insult me every way possible hear me out: when in csst, if you have dungeon bombs it's basically a pay 2 win kind of deal, let me list a few reasons why:

1. AS SOON AS YOU ARE LEVEL 71 you can participate in these events. And you might be thinking "well J_mun It's a level 85 dungeon you will just die if you join." but the problem is, if some one shouts: CSST on my server! and 40 people instantly join, suddenly you don't just die.

2. Even when the rest of the corrupted dungeons come out, this will still be the primary dungeon (I think atleast) because; First, compared to every other dungeon, CSST is the shortest and even if something like corrupted ice barrows comes out and gives you around 1.05 million exp (CSST currently gives you 550k exp)
by the time you finish one corrupted ice barrows, you will have already done A CSST around 4 - 6 times because while CSST itself isn't a easy dungeon, it is when you have 40 people running around.

3. It actually made me kind of sad to think that awhile ago, Hippie Snuggles posted a video about how he was a hippocrite about not using wynncraft enhanced mod, but that is aside from the point, because one of his lines went something like this ; " after grinding for about 30 minute, (from level 100 - 101) I could see that I had gotten around 500k exp, and I actually felt accomplished." And when you think about it just like wow I mean in about that time you could have gotten like over 5 million exp, at the bare minimum.

Now, on to some of the things that I think could help this: (note for the staff team this will be ALOT of work if this goes through, wich I highly doubt.)

1. Completely revamp SST and CSST with more puzzles and parkour.

2. Make more quests for levels 90 - 100 (like cmon as you guys keep giving lvl 1 - 90 quests to us there is like 4 or 5 level 90 - 100 quests)

3. (and probaly the easiest way) only 3 people can go in a csst at once, and after that all other people will go into another copy of a csst, but probaly extremely laggy as only 3 people can go in each clone of each dungeon.

First of all, this is correct. CSST is VERY overpowered. (From what i hear, i don’t use it.)

Secend, MH questline is coming.

Third, I just want to say i’m impressed. You have like, 5 messages? And you make a thread like this, that adresses an inportant issue, has good formatting, offers multiple possibly working solutions, makes it easy to understand, and has a poll? (Please share your secrets with us, did you read how to suggest? Did you look at other popular suggestions and take notes? Or are you just good at things like this?) My only complaint is that this isn’t in the feedback section. (You might want to move it.)

 

First of all, I must say I'm impressed that even though you just came recently to the forums, you manage to make a really great thread, that's important

Then, I just don't think this thread was all much needed sadly :/
Every owners of wynncraft know that CSST is highly overpowered, it has already been nerfed in xp, but it still is more than viable, it causes problems such as no more dxp weekend because of how overpowered it is, wich is annoying for everyone.

No, not needed, if there's already more puzzles and stuff, then it isn't needed that there is more copy, thus more lag, as it already is an issue, also, other dungeons are pretty overpowered too ;)

Even if there's 2 answers, I feel like they express what I feel about this suggestion, the problems, and the good parts.

The only purpose I can really see to this thread, is to show how many people actually want it to be nerfed... But just know that it is a really great source of money for the owners :
- Dungeon Bomb
- Double XP Bomb
And some of the parties last HOURS!

So yea, I hope there will be a CSST nerf, but it most likely won't come just now...

Tbh, other dungeons are pretty overpowered too, allowing you to quicklevel using them... You basically need to farm 2 times and just do dungeons will carried and in a few hours you are 71 for CSST


Quick notes

Meanwhile, with my set in a 5 minute run, I can get around 2.7 millions exp... Just so that you can get an idea...
I played and leveled some of my classes without CSST, and with cosmic set, I would stay multiple totems without gaining any percent... (It wasn't perfect but still...)

meh, not really, I haven't bought any bombs and still I completed :
78 + 84 + 80 + 51 + 17 = 310 runs
wow i'm a no life abuser...

But still, I get your point...

Sorry if sometimes it could come out rude, or that I didn't want it to be implemented, it isn't my goal, I do want CSST to be nerfed and this thread was really well executed

 

Wynn gets so much money from CSST parties, it’s just a matter of whether do they value that bit of money more than the gameplay difference of 30 levels. I’d think they value gameplay but maybe I’m wrong.

Hehehehheheeheheehehehe.. what you don't know is I am secretly mastah forumest!!111!!1!!!!- jk anyways I have actualy played wynncraft for 4+ years (and my highest level is a 93 rip) so I have seen quite a few revamps and changes soo yeah. + I see your point, thanks for the reply

This was amazingly made for a newcomer to the forums! I’m impressed. Good on ya for addressing an issue that isn’t often addressed in the best way.

 

now for what you expect from a newcomer to forums; dUz u liek tAH memZ?

 

To be honest I think that people who start doing CSST at level 71 are those who are speed running, and this just makes it easier. Those are the people that dont do any quest and just grind. I personally try and do all quests, and i only do CSST when i don't want to grind, like 90-95. So I'd say that the people doing CSST from lvl 71 would just skip most of the gameplay another way even if CSST was nerfed.

Also this is a major cash cow(hi salted) so tbh I'm not sure it needs to be nerfed; didn't they do that during D&D?

 

this is actually pretty well executed and danq for someone completely new to forums

it seems as if you had this planned for discussion before making this post but still its pretty cool to look into probably the most popular event on wynn

I think maybe the dungeon should be randomized, to divide big groups and purge weaker players that only stand near doors and wait for everyone else to finish the stages for them so they could get free xp? There could be multiple rooms, some of which could be traps, mob fights, parkour, or puzzles, and some pressure tripwires would divide and teleport players randomly into those rooms.

It's so annoying when you get idiots on their, like eighth lvl 100 class and refuse to help with any of the dungen. Just stand at the door doing sod all screaming "heal me" or "look at mt white horse". Great thread, needed to be brought to attention.

The problem with THAT is that small groups who want to do CSST will be shredded as well
