    Hey guys,

Here's my idea for another way to make people spend a ton of money, and hopefully not destroy Wynncraft.

The main principle is that you can buy weapon and armor enhance scrolls that you put onto your gear. Each piece of gear can only have one enhance slot, and they would be things ranging from xp or loot bonus, skill points and even spell damage or mana regen. Basically, you can add to an item's identifications. The scrolls would put a line of green text under the item's other identifications showing what they added.

To buy them, there would be five merchants around the map, one for each 20 level span. You can buy a scroll from them, and it would give you a random enhance scroll, with one positive ability and one negative. The way it'd work is there is a list of positive stats and a list of negative stats and it would pick one of each, say +10% xp and -15% reflection. Things like stealing and skill points would be more common than melee damage and mana regen(Thanks @Bramblesthatcat for this idea).

This is a good money sink because the prices would stack up while you're trying to get the perfect scroll. For different levels, there would be different scrolls. The random scroll for level 1-20 gear would be around 5 EB. The higher level the gear is, the higher the cost. For level 80-100 gear, it would cost 45 EB each. You could only put the scroll on a piece of gear that is the scrolls level; for example, you can't buy the level 1-20 scroll for cheap, then put it on your level 80 gear. This would, however, make lower level gear more viable, because you can enhance it for cheaper.

Each weapon and armor piece would have one enhance slot.

A list of possible scroll attributes, basically anything you can normally get on armor:

Skill Points: +5 of a skill point
    Stealing: +20% stealing
    Thorns: +20% thorns
    Reflection: +20% reflection
Life steal: Between 20/4 and 500/4 life steal depending on level
Raw health: Between +100 to +500 depending on level
Poison: Between 50/4 poison and 500/4 depending on level
    Mana Regen: +1/4 mana regen

    Thanks for reading,

    Muchwrath

I think that the enchant itself should be a different color then green to not confuse people if they are trading it. I also think that it should always appear last in the weapon/armor stats for not having the stat in a random place on the gear that it is on.

Also can we have more details on the stats itself? Like how strong would it be? Would it be +1 regen or +3 mana regen

Maybe make it so there’s a limit to how many new attributes you can add (like powders), so people don’t have like tons of attributes on one weapon making it broken af. Then, people can buy more of those scrolls to upgrade that sole attribute more times to a max number depending on weapon level.

It's a good idea because not enough money is being pulled out of wynn (INFLATION) and this would help solve. Dad, I approve maybe cheaper tho

I like the idea. I'm all for self crafted gear, but from the balancing standpoint, putting enchantments on mythic and/or legendary gear would make them unbalanced.
It could work for rares and uniques individually, but using several of the same enchantments on all the gear is going to create problems.
In total, you can add 5 extra mana regen/2500 life steal/7500 health which are huge values.
Suggestion: limiting certain enchantments where they can be placed, for example, mana regen being only available on weapons.

A way to prevent an item from having a bunch of different ID's and become OP, you could have a limit to how many ID's you can add on. For Legendaries, you could have 2 different types of ID's added on, while lesser tiers could have more. For example, Rares have 3 'slots' to add ID's, and Unique's have 4 'slots'.
Also, have certain ID's cancel out each other. For example, you add an ID that gives you +20% Spell Damage, but it would take away -15% Melee Damage. +2/4 mr, but 1/4 mana steal, ect. This would prevent you from having rainbow ID's on a non-rainbow build.
Also (just an idea) add a gambling aspect, as to make it more of a money-sink and not just an NPC to buy stuff at, make the ID Scrolls random, you don't know what you're gonna get!
That's all I have to say about this. It could work if it's tweaked to not be game-breaking.

I like this for the most part, but one suggestion I have is to enable the scrolls to be removed, just like powders, but they are then lost. I say this because it would be annoying being stuck with a specific scroll on your item, especially because if you want to change up your build but keep a specific item, you may have to get another of that item if its scroll no longer fits your build. This definitely would have to happen if the scrolls are random when you equip them, as I saw another person mention that idea.
