World In-game Auction / Auctioneer

Hello, my name is Theo but you can call me Ryycee.
I often see people buying, selling, auctioning on the forums and struggling to get someone to purchase your item, or find someone with the item you want. So i thought, wouldn't it be easier if we had an in-game auctioneer?

For example, a NPC in detlas called "Auctioneer" or something like that, i feel like it's easier to find people to buy your stuff in-game than on the forums. Cause you wouldn't have to go through millions of shops to see if they have the item you want. And it would be good for the sellers cause it would be easier for them to find a buyer for the item.

So here's a few steps of how the Auctioneer would work.

WHEN SELLING IN THE AUCTIONEER

● You would have to give the Auctioneer your item you want to sell and then click confirm.

● Set a price for it by typing the amount of emerald you want it to cost in chat.

● The Auctioneer will keep your item safe (like in a bank) until you find a buyer.

● If you change your mind and don't want to sell your item in the Auctioneer you could cancel the "Auction" of your item.

● There would be an maximum amount of time you could have your item

● You enter an "Buy it now" (BIN) Price and click confirm.

● He would be like a middle man and make sure you don't get scammed


WHEN BUYING IN THE AUCTIONEER


● You would be able to ask the Auctioneer if there are any certain items that you want for sale.

● You would also be able to just scroll through pages to find any certain item that you want

● You could set a price limit that the item can cost.

● When buying click the item and then confirm.

● He would be like a middle man and make sure you don't get scammed

● There would be an "Buy it now" (BIN) Option where you could purchase the item right away instead of having to bid on it against other people

The Auctioneer can be in many different places for easier access.

Been suggested before, what's more, within the last week. Pretty sure it's still on first page, actually (at least at the I me of writing).

Anyway, nice suggestion. May I suggest you add something like a 'Sell Now' option as well as Auction? Admittedly it's completely ripped off from eBay but still, it's a good feature. Basically if you want to just get rid of an item for more than the item buyer, you can put it for sell now, with I guess the price that you want, and people can see it and it's stats and the price. In auction people put bids on it for a set period of time. You would have to have some sort of a system which limits how much someone can bid based on how much money they have, eg if they're like me and have just over 1 stack they can't really go around bidding on 91 ws Stratis, can they lol.

Im 99.99% sure this used to be a thing you could do, was it removed? I went into dallus and the first thing i tried to do was find the auction ;(
