Without Thread Sharing:

You are sitting down on your computer, when you have an idea of making a shop. Your friend wants to have his items added into the shop, but he can't edit it so he messages you all the items he wants added. This takes up to an hour and the owner edits it himself while the other person does whatever he wants. The next day when an item sells or when he wants more items to be added he messages you and tells you what to add.

Thread Sharing​

This is basically how it works. When you create your thread there is a section above the thread (Just like in conversations) where it asks if you want to add participants. Once the participants are added there will be an alert that says they have been added to "(Insert thread name here)". This would make there be less threads because more and more people would be sharing a shop with their friends. (Less threads appeals to some people) The next question you would ask is probably somewhere close to this, "Couldn't someone just edit your thread and delete everything?" The answer is no.

If someone that was invited to the thread tries to make an edit, they won't be able to do so without the owner's approval. A request will be sent to the owner showing the requested edit, and they can either accept it or deny it. The owner can also kick people from the thread and they are the only ones that can edit it without approval.

With Thread Sharing:
You are sitting down on your computer, when you have an idea of making a shop with your friend. You add your friend to the shop and he edits it himself while you do your own thing. All you have to do is press one button to accept the edit.

i dont think that is possible, also, your friend could just make their own shop

Yessss please, in it probably won't happen and it would be difficult to make but it would be really good if it was.

 

Or... Google Drive... that's an option... but yeah, don't know if possible. But yah a .5 support from me.

 

Eh, looks good, sadly, I wouldn't be able to use it on my Mythic Emporium thread because the main purpose that there would be in someone else editing my thread is different timezone :
I don't have the same timezone as some members, thus resulting in some mythics having to wait for a few hours before being added/removed from the thread.
But with the fact that you need approval (wich is a great idea to avoid deleting) it wouldn't really help me, I mean, I barely have to :
WriteMythic Name - PutLinkThatTheyToldMeToPut @name

But I do think it could help with making there be less shops but more items in each shop.

However, idk if you can do this with xenforo ;/

 

Could be nice, but as Khaps said, it depends on whether it is within Xenforo (the forum app thingy that these here forums use)'s functions, and I suspect it's not. So unfortunately even if the staff wanted to add it, they probably can't.

 

In all honesty, you could use Google Documents to help you two make it...

I get what you’re saying, but idk if there would be much benefit beyond shop threads. I don’t have a shop either so it just doesn’t appeal to me that much :-/

 

it would be awesome, but it most likely won't happen... there's no such xenforo addon for this

 

I doubt this would happen but I have 2 other people in my shop and this would be amazing
