World Add A Quest Restart Command

In all likelihood most of us has come across glitches in the quest that we do (obviously NOT in realm of light of course). So if this command was added, as long as the quest wasn't marked as completed you could complete the quest again. Either because of bugs (again looking at realm of light) or deja vu (meme not intended). This would reset every thing done in the quest e.g if you killed bob in reincarnation but didn't get the corrupted treasure. /questrestart and do it again. PLZ PLZ PLZ add this in the next update or i can't complete realm of light.

Okay, this suggestion isn't that detailed, So do i think it will be added? No. though this would be handy, you could also use it to grind exp from a specific quest, Like ToA or Hive. -1 EDIT: jpresent has a thread that can help you.

 

Can't really grind xp if you can only finish the quest once.

 

I mean, if you get 20 of each non-boss shard and 2 of each boss shards you can grind through ToA

 

What do you mean by that? You can grind through ToA anyways, once you started the quest and got access to, for example, the second floor, you will be able to go through the first and second floor as many times as you want. No need to restart ToA.

 

1. You should add a poll so people can vote for or against this suggestion.
2. I don't know why this isn't in the game already, sure you could grind items or xp but with the way almost all of the quests were broken when the D&D update came out and the way some of them still are this would only be fair. A dungeon quest broke on the class I wanted to do all quests with and I still can't complete it (It broke 25 days ago), I've lost all faith that they even know how to fix it so this would at least make it so you might eventually be able to do it.

How to avoid people abusing this for infinite non-master hive tokens?

 

DOnt let them restart hive

 

Only allow them to restart a quest to the previous stage.

 

For ordinary quests, restarting before its finished is okay, since you may encounter a bug that you won't recieve your quest items in the right time.
For Special quests like ToA and Hive, you won't need to use it since it is all about untradable items and combat. Also for hive, you get a voucher for each division and it will be way too op if you can restart this.

Not enough details. For example, you can get infinite hive tokens from the hive quest if you keep restarting this quest, so how do you prevent these things happen in these kind of quests?
