Multi /msg System

This has bothered me more then a few times, and i dont know if this is just a minecraft thing or what but i think you guys can do it, im talking about making it so you can message multiple people at once. I am not talking about everyone on that server but like 2 or more people thanks well i dont know what else to add

try adding people to a party with "/party create" and "/party invite (username)"

you can talk to everyone in the party with "/p (message)"

 

join a party or guild snd use /p or /g respectively

 

i wonder if this really bothers anyone else...

no i mean 2 or more people that are not in a party with you
it would me too much work to add 2 people to a party then msg them then kick the party (idk)

 

First of all, I don't remember any server I went on having something like this, also, I don't see the use, a moment that you cannot leave your party or invite someone in it to talk with them or cannot use the guild chat either?
And cannot use discord/skype<- lol

However, remember to add a poll to let people vote if they want it or not since some may want to vote without feedback

 

You don't necessarily have to kick them from the party afterwards, or you could just use the regular chat if they're close to you (idk. It might have been trading or you were in different areas or something private), or you could just open chat, write the message to the first person, then press the up key and change the name.

Actually, I thought if you wrote, say, "/msg DrX2345 theykilledkeny look, multiple messages", it would message both of the player names? I don't kno though. I'm pretty sure it worked on Mineplex...

 

Oh come on, it would take more time to develop this kind of system than the two extra seconds you would have to use on typing. This suggestion would be too time consuming to implement considering the small reward

oh just dont lie your saying it takes you 2 seconds to type / party create /party invite /party invite, then make sure they except then message them then disband the party!?!!? trust me that takes more then 1 minute

 

It honestly depends. I can do so pretty easily. Also, party chats are meant for this. However there are times where I do agree that I want to make a little room for chatting with multiple people when they are in different worlds. It's a bit out of your way to go to Discord/Skype when you don't have either and it is only for a moment or something of the sort.

It's a mixture of: Move your fingers and type, and, I do support this in a different form.

How will 1 minute kill you? also I was talking about a whole discussion, not just one message :/
If you just want to send one message do :
/msg person1 <message>
Copy
Paste, change the name, send
etc etc
If you want to talk with them forever : Guild
If you want to talk with them for a few minutes : Party
If you want to talk with them for just 1 message : Copy Paste and change...
I don't see how something like this wich is pretty easy, and not really time consuming would be a feature important to develop while rare are those that would have a use in this (I never needed that in my whole Minecraft life :/)
Remember that /msg person1 person2 person3 person4 <message> would make the message way shorter than
/p <message>
Anyway, that's why I don't think this is a good idea to implement :/
