World Healer In Big Cities?

I have a general suggestion for bigger cities: Healer!
I'm playing Assassine, and in my view it is very difficult to get back full health without using a lot of healing potions. I don't know, how the other classes feel that (except Mage), but I think it's a good idea, when in bigger cities healer are located. Those healers can heal you, for a little fee.

Most of the time I play together with my friend, a mage, so this is not the problem. But I get problems, when I play alone. And that's not because I travel to places over my level. Especially the jungle and a big part of Gavel are more difficult than other places (for me as a Assassine) because of the range attacs from some mobs.
And then, when I have low health, I run to the next city to a safe place and wait, until my health is nearly full, so I can fight again. This waiting time can be reduced with a healer.

I think, it won't be very difficult to place healers in cities, there are enough houses which a healer can be placed in.

Of course, you may have lifesteal or a good health regenaration, but I think a healer is a suggestion, we can discuss about.

 

Why can’t you just use pots?

 

tbh i think its a gud idea to have like a kinda healing aura or smth in cities so 1. you can get free helas xd (which isnt that bad considering mage)
2. less likely to die from swarms
3. no downside rly

 

Imo, you should just open every chest you find and take the healing pots (and get rid of useless stuff in your inventory by putting them in the extra 10 bank pages that we now have :p
Also, idk your level, but you should try to get a ls weapon allowing you to regenerate while hitting villagers in the city even though it might not be your main weapon, just have it in case you need it.

 

I like the idea of healing fountains.

List of options:

• Healing potion loot run, fill up a bank page.
• A secondary weapon with maximum life steal, leech life from villagers.
• Ask any mage in a city, if one is around, to heal you.
• Put on a maximum hp regeneration set while in a city, hold a hp regeneration weapon.

 

Yes, of course. As I said, you have possibilities to get yourself full health. But I think it's not a big thing to make a healer - or a healing fountain - to solve this problem easier than change your armour everytime you want to regenerate.

Maybe you can add to the potion merchant, who also sells healing potions, a feature, that he can heal you instead.

 

Kill mobs in the floating sky area until you get 25 magic feathers, go to Aldorei, and buy the Amulet of Rejuvenation.
+2000% Health Regen.

Not sure, haven't touched it in a while, even if it was though, it's still the same concept, easy in city regen.

 

The only time, where this Amulet is useful is in a city to regenerate. So, that would solve my problem, but I think we should have a quick and easy way. Sure, there are many ways to get full health, but a healer, a healing fountain or what else won't be a big work (I think). It's a little thing, but in my view, it can help a lot of player.

 

I’m a level 61... can I still buy that? I go to the sky islands a lot and have some feathers stored up from lootruns. Or is it a level 100 thing

 

You must have Level 80 to wear that.

 

Good point, we need a healer in cities.

 

I'm a mage, and all the people commenting ways to heal up are very valid. But, I do think the idea of a "healing halo" in cities that heals you up 4x faster (that's just a number, don't quote me on that) than the natural slow health-restoring, is a cool idea.
For example, whenever you're in a city like Detlas trading stuff you equip and unequip armour, you do tend to end up with low health, and when there are no mages around - it could be a useful feature.

 

I like the idea with a healing halo. But are there any problems with payers with a negative health generation? I'm not sure if a negative health generation will "steal" all of your health or just up to a variable percentage? And I have in mind that I was some time ago in a situation, that my health generation stopped at a percentage of full health. Am I right?
So a healing halo maybe only adds health, doesn't matter which health regeneration you have. Maybe 100 healthpoints per second or so. Sure, players with lower Level will heal faster than Lv. 100 player... I don't know, if it's possible, to add health relating to the max health of a player - maybe 5% per second.
I don't think a instand heal, if you only enter the city, is a good idea. You should do something for your heal, waiting or go to a special place. So you can't rush trough the world.

 

A poll would be nice.

 

A "halo" wouldn't work because duels.

Nope.
It also has 80 raw health regen, which makes it a second best healh regen raw necklace.
