World Nerf Snow Wolves?

I'm currently level 43 and I'm doing the Underice quest in Nesaak. The thing that really rattles me is the Snow Wolves.

My gear is at the point where I can one-bang the Ice Cutter with a meteor, but Wolves are super annoying because there are SO MANY OF THEM. I walk 15 steps and get attacked by a swarm of 6 wolves. Blow them up with a meteor, and I have another 6 behind me. It's not that they are too tough, or overpowered, there are just too many of them. The only reason I die to these things is because they group up and swarm you because they move faster than you. And there are so many of them that eventually you run out of mana killing them, and you die...

Ok, that was more of a rant than a suggestion. But the actual suggestion is that I think the spawn rate for Snow Wolves should be turned down to about 75% of what it is now. These things are always a pain, especially in mountainous parts of Nesaak where it's incredibly difficult to evade them, kill them and climb at the same time.

Thoughts? (Sorry about the yelling)

 

Try utilizing other spells, like Ice Snake to slow them down or Teleport to quickly gain more distance or to stun them, so you can kill them more easily. Mage has more than just Meteor to use!

I feel you, it was hard too at your level, but you are a mage! the strongest class for this!
Just use heal when you are low, when there's too much following you : Ice snake + meteor and boom no one! :D

so it shouldn't be nerfed, but you should definitevely use not only meteor ;)

 

i would agree that certain areas of the map have too many mob spawns (especially around npcs for quests interrupting dialogue. but you have to remember wynncraft is an MMO, which are famously meant to be played in groups/multiplayer. guilds help with this as they add sub communities to the game.

Buff the player

 

Some mobs spawn a bit quicker than others, yes. However the reason being this is that they are significantly weaker than the other mobs in that area. If the mob's spawn rate is reduced, the area will be too easy. If you have a game that is too easy throughout without giving effort, then what is the point playing it? Wynncraft may not be the most balanced at the moment... but that can be changed later on.

Also, don't expect one move/spell to take you everywhere, the other spells are there for a reason. Use 'em.
