World Add Chair Plugins :/

simple (i think) wynncon had it so i thought ya know helps with role play and stuff xd jsut a kinda cool thing to have ya know :/

 

because boy does not being able to sit in a chair in my fantasy adventure game sure ruin the immersion

kek i guess but im pretty sure mobs/entities dont rly lag
i vaguely recall salted or someone talking about how un laggy their mobs are or smth :/
plus there sholudnt be that many chairs anyway so it shouldnt be a problem :\

 

Thats probably true, but don't the code creatures have better things to work on than chairs? (main storyline, cool cutscenes, fix lag, etc...)

 

well i guess but its not like theyll have to do it from scratch :/
its (probably) a pretty easy to find/implement plugin and u could (probably) just pull it off the interntet or smth
anyway if its not there well again the wynncon dudes had it they could jsut ask them
as far as i know it was all organized by people from wynn so if the coders asked for it they probably wouldnt refuse :\

 

You'll be able to climb on buildings that have staircases for detail, and that's exactly why Wynncon have disabled that plugin I think.

 

As lesser-me mentioned, you would be able to sit on roof tops and archways and literally ANYTHING with stairs in it. They would need to be VERY specific about whats a chair and what's not, which just isn't possible (unless you can specify specific coords of a chair block)

Voted yes, because I don't see any reason not to add it other than it possibly being a bit of effort. However, if you can't specify which ones are chairs, no. I assumed you meant literal chairs, similar in appearance to furniture mod chairs, but are these ones where it's stairs and you click to sit down?

 

You can do that, but Wynn uses all manner of blocks for all manner of things. Not all chairs are the same stair block. Not all sandstone stairs (for example) are chairs

And, I don't think it's even possible to specify coords.

Most chair plugins detect a stair surrounded in signs/trapdoors/item frames, which might make you able to sit in a place where you shouldn't (ex the side of a wall)

 

its a cool idea, but theres just too much glitching that would happen because we use stairs a lot in detailing our builds
we dont want you to be sitting on the cinfras guild hall spire at 255 Y-axis

edit: ya no we're not going through every stair block in the game and deciding if we want it to be sat on or not

 

At least some areas would be nice

You dont need it for like stairs up to buildings and such,
but large important places should have it at least
