Boss For The Quest, "the Passage"

I am having some trouble with this boss for the quest, "The Passage". I also noticed that other players are having trouble with this one too, and even when I join up with one of them, we still both end up dying. If you have any tips or advice, or just simple commentary about it, feel free to leave it here. Thanks!

but to answer the question, id reccomend starting to look at stats on armor and trying to make a build that either focuses on defenses or attack, and make sure to have a mage to heal a lot

 

This boss is not difficult if you are prepared. This boss can be beaten alone at level 57. You will need some level 55 potions, and a good weapon (I highly recommend olux's prized weapons, you can get them after doing the bigfoot quest [i dont know what is called]. Anyways, your armor doesnt matter, i did it with level 40 armor, but better armor will help.

When you enter the boss room, there will be many entities around. You must focus the entities with the skeleton heads, because they sprint over to the boss and heal him. If you only focus on killing the boss and not these minions you will fail. If you are with another person, have one person focus the boss and have the other one focus the healing minions. Additionally, when you see the white particles around the boss, use your mobility spell to get out of there immediately. While his multihit doesnt do too much damage, it will force you to use a potion

In the end, the boss comes down to skill, but here are some additional ways to make the boss very easy, if all else fails:
-use mana potions/buff potions (i recommend agility and intelligence potions) when u drink the mana potion spam your attack spell like crazy to do a ton of damage

- get a party of 2 or more ppl to help
-ask a high level player in troms for help
-wait until you are a higher level yourself

 

I don't know why people have so much trouble with this boss. I soloed it 4 times with my lv 57 archer, I didn't have any problems. I only died once just because I froze.

Your problem might be your gear: choose items wisely, your armor and accessories must be forcasted on a certain stat. In my case it was Thunder damage. And I would recommend always getting the number of intelligence points that decreases your mana cost by 50.3% (unless you only use meele)
