World Galleon's Graveyard Flaws: How To Fix

    I just went to retry Galleon's Graveyard. The dungeon is good, however there are some major flaws.

    Let's not talk about the first sections: tokens and cannonball works well, and is an unique feature from the dungeon. Great!

    Now onto the Whirlpool parkour: you guessed it, it needs rework. The idea is good, but could've been better. It's inconsistent, the whirlpools don't always cast their pull spell, and the way you get pulled is very random.
    Potential fix: You could use the rocket pressure plates thing (Like these in Molten Heights or even the Infested Pit) as a whirlpool. But then the idea wouldn't feel as unique anymore. Better yet, you could use the levitation effect from 1.9 (I assume we're getting there soon enough now, but right now you can't do that)! That could make for interesting parkour.

    Then comes the ship battle part. I don't know if that part was there since the Gameplay Update, I have to say I really don't remember that part at all. But now... I do, and not really in a good way.
    See, at first I was surprised, I thought the idea was great and the battle would last for ~2 minutes at max.
    Oh boy I was wrong. It took me a solid 20 minutes PER battle (I did the dungeon twice)... I didn't really mind the whirlpool parkour although it could be better, but this is a major issue that needs to be adressed. Here's the problems I encoutered during the battle:
    • Firing multiple cannonballs on the same line is literally useless: when one cannonball hits the enemy cannonball, all the cannonballs of the same line instantly disappear.
    • The cooldown doesn't even work since you can spam multiple plates by going left and right repeatedly
    • The first two hits don't take that much time and suddenly the last one is extremely long
    • I thought there was strategy the first time I played, but I realized that spamming the pressure plates was the way to go
    Important fixes to do, and how this could be fixed:
    1. Fix the cooldown!
    2. You could change the "hit ship" objective to a "survive 2 minutes" one.
    3. Fix the glitch where shot cannonballs disappear when another one explodes, this is actually the big glitch that makes the battle extra long. If you fix that, you may not even need a new objective.
    4. Tweak the difficulty and the AI of the enemy ship
    These are the major issues about that minigame. It's just too long!
    Also, the timed parkour before the boss room is too easy, making it harder could be good.
    (20 seconds -> 10 seconds?)

    Note: In the boss room, when a player is summoning a cannonball, the whole room can see the "Hold (X seconds)" subtitle. That's probably not intended, as it confuses players.

    TL;DR: Fix that damn ship battle part

    We've made some changes to the ship battle part that'll be going live with the next update, which will hopefully make it feel a lot better.

    10 seconds would be too short for some players, can it be increased to 15 seconds?

    My general strategy for beating the dungeon is literally get to the plates as fast as possible and spam down one lane. I shouldn't need to point out why this is a problem.
