World Dungeon Idea: The Spiritual Prison - Prison Of Stolen Souls

Hello guys I am giving some suggestions about dungeons here, and this dungeon will be located in Dullahan's mansion (It means the place you can go after you did the quest "the headless hunt"). Let me know you guys' opinions in the comment and in the poll. Thank you

*Dungeon merchant and key guardian will be put on tomorrow, and btw how to make spoilers teach me guys, thanks*

Base info:
Level 70
Difficulty: you think of it idk
Lore: "You dare coming to this place and oppose me? prepare for destruction, people!" - Dullahan

Phase 1
First it is a 20-token room, which you need to hunt 20 token from the ghosts nearby.
Monsters:
Aggressive soul (level 70): 3k health, air defense and damage, fire weakness, 200-400 neutral damage and 200-300 air damage melee, uses heal ability
Prison Warden (lvl 72): 3.5k health, air and earth defense, fire weakness, 400-600 neutral damage melee, uses charge ability
Darkness guard (lvl 70): 1mil health (aka unkillable), 300-600 earth damage ranged

Phase 2:
A parkour (like the one in the quest "one thousand meters under" one, nice parkour it has imo)

Phase 3:
A blue token room, you need to hunt 1 blue token in it
This place spawns monsters that you saw in Phase 1. You first need 15 token to summon a mini-boss there, and then kill it for the blue token
New monster:
Black guardian (lvl 75): 20k health, earth defense and damage, 700-950 earth damage melee, uses charge ability

Phase 4:
Monster surviving (Yea also like the one in the quest "One thousand meters under", that quest is just better than ever)
In here you just have to survive through these wave of monsters (listed in Phase 1 except the ranged guard) for 1 minute (or shorter maybe), and they dont drop tokens here

Phase 5:
Run for your life
Fire wall at your back, pushing you to the front. The speed of the fire wall is like a person sprinting at -10% speed given (like the fallen factory one, it deals damage and send you to where you started phase 5)

Phase 6 (boss)
The boss is just like the boss in Corrupted Underworld Crypt, where you need to collect 5 tokens to revive a soul, which helps you to fight the boss
Revived soul (level 80): 20k health, 70k neutral damage, suicide strike after 30 seconds
Token guys: Aggressive soul (refer to phase 1 plz)
Boss - Dullahan (level 80): 500k health, 700-1000 earth damage, 700-1000 air damage, uses charge and multihit ability

Dungeon reward:
40 falling emeralds
250k xp at lvl 70
+1 Dullahan's soul
+3 Spiritual prison fragment

Dialogues:
Phase 1:
As you enter this place, you starts being amazed by this big size of the mansion....
Many souls are trapped here, what happened to this place?

Phase 2:
[1/3] Dullahan: Well, nice struggle with those souls. I control these souls in order to dominate the whole forest.
[2/3] Dullahan: However, are you planning to go further? These acts aren't a concern of you, wynn folk.
[3/3] Dullahan: In this case, good luck coming over then!
These rocks don't have gravity, but they fell and cracked the ground here.... maybe make your way to the other side?

Phase 3:
[1/2] Dullahan: Just don't activate this altar. It can summon something that can destroy you in one blow.
[2/2] Dullahan: I think this can stop you from coming foward. I bet you don't want to die in another places which is not your homeland. Because I don't want it too.

Phase 4:
[1/1] Dullahan: Well, it was just a mere fluke. Lets see how long you can stay in those bunches of souls.
Dullahan starts summoning the souls near you. He stays silence when watching your struggle with them.

Phase 5:
[1/1] Dullahan: You know what, I am going to burn you into ashes, and claim your soul as my servant too. You are nice at using up my energy to summon souls. But you are going to end up being ashes here.

Boss Room:
[1/3] Dullahan: You know how people treat me before the decay. They executed me and trapped my soul. I must let them know how does it feel.
[2/3] Dullahan: I don't mean to kill innocent people. I just want to create a world which people obey to me, and I am going to fix the decay, as well as the corruption in wynn.
[3/3] Dullahan: Why are you people are keen on stopping me? I am helping you people, in exchange of obeying to me. Is it even hard?

 

This has a lot of recycled things, and in the parkour phase Why did dullah help you? Also the text is a bit unclear, add [#/#] at the start of dialogue and actions Should be in gray. Not this gray, but only a bit lighter.

 

Dullahan was killed by the villagers because he more or less treated them like slaves. It doesn't make sense for him to want them to know how it felt for him to get killed, because they already DO know. On top of that, with him being so grotesquely evil it doesn't make sense for his "plan" to be to get rid of the Decay and Corruption. Why would he get rid of something that causes pain and suffering, when his goal is to do the same?

You know what, I'm just lazy. And dullahan help the player because he want to toy them/him/her. But yea he failed.

...this idea... I like it... But it doesn't make much sense with the lore to me as each boss has something to do with lore and follows the story. I would suggest having it follow the story of Wynn.

Dialogue:

refer to the Boss room dialogue. He is going to 'fix' the decay and the corruption, in exchange of obeying him. However, no one actually knows what does an NPC is thinking, including me. Take Amadel as an example, the dialogue after you defeated him says that 'Amadel was a god, he is going to save the whole world...' Do you think this way too? I don't think so. Therefore, what an NPC, especially a super villain like Dullahan, says is not neccessarily a part of the lore. You must know that, right?
And, I searched the whole quest for what you says, 'Why would he get rid of something that causes pain and suffering, when his goal is to do the same?' and I can't even tell that his goal is doing the same. He is just capturing people who don't obey him and nothing else.

Not neccessarily all bosses have to do with the lore in wynn. This place is Gavel, and it is dealing with something sort of... quests.

I can tell you the whole wynncraft is recycled, cuz it is made in minecraft. And okay I changed the text's color and actions thanks for informing me that one

 

Looking at the title of the thread alone, the dungeon can get VERY confusing, as there's already a Boss Altar called "Prison of Souls"



(Also, the dialogue has a lot of grammatical mistakes)

 

I believe they are still learning or have some difficulty with English as it isn't their first language.

 

I haven't said this before, but I am come from Hong Kong, and you brain can help you to know what I want so say. Sorry for the grammatical mistakes though
By the way, if you say that, the dungeon will be very confusing as there is something called "Prison of souls", then I am asking you, will you say 'Right into the lion's den' instead of Corrupted Sand-Swept Tomb/csst? I don't think so, right? The dungeon's name is called Spiritual prison, but not the whole title.

 

Ah, I wasn't sure which part of the title was the name. But, even if it's just "Spiritual Prison", that still may get confusing.
