World Quest Idea - Captain Of The Ship

    Hey all. My past quest ideas have not been very good, and I think I know why. I was forcing my brain to think about a certain quest. Now this time (hopefully) it should be better, as this randomly popped into my head and wasn't forced.
    Quest Level: 29
    Talk to Jimmy in Nemract docks.
    [1/5] Jimmy: 'Ello there, mate! Do you think you could do me a favor?
    [2/5] Jimmy: Ya see, I have heard all 'bout the Maro Peaks. However, I want to see it with me own eyes!
    [3/5] Jimmy: Do ya think you could get a crew and be the captain of a sail to Maro Peaks? I ain't old enough to be a pirate like this, so I cannot.
    [4/5] Jimmy: Oh dun worry, I got a ship we can use. Can't drive it, so you have to. Once you have everyone, go onto the ship, I'll be there. The ship is right next to that seaskipper captain's ship!
    [5/5] Jimmy: Ya will? Thank ya so much, matey! Let's go find crew members, shall we? Three should do.
    How this works is there will be five NPCS all around Nemract docks. You can only chose three of them for your crew though. Yes, they will all say yes.
    If you try to enter ship before choosing all crew members:
    You don't want to sail just yet, you'll probably want a crew first!
    If you try to enter ship before quest starts:
    This looks like someone's ship, you probably don't want to break and enter.
    Choose your crew members:
    If you choose Julian:
    [1/3] Julian: 'Ello mate, whatcha up to?
    [2/3] Julian: I see. Alright fine, I'll join your crew to Maro Peaks.
    [3/3] Julian: This better be worth it though, mate!
    If you choose Bob:
    [1/3] Bob: 'Ello mate. No, I am not the almighty Bob.
    [2/3] Bob: Hm? Oh a folk named Jimmy wants to see Maro Peaks?
    [3/3] Bob: It's clear why you need a crew, it's quite a long ride.
    [4/4] Bob: Alright matey, I'll join your crew.
    If you choose Lily:
    [1/3] Lily: 'Ello lad! Ya need a crew?
    [2/2] Lily: I'll gladly join your crew. Especially if we're goin' to Maro Peaks!
    If you choose Ava:
    [1/2] Ava: 'Ello. Yes, I know, your looking for crew members.
    [2/2] Ava: How? I've seen you running around asking people since that Jimmy talked to you!
    [3/3] Ava: Yeah, I'll join it.
    If you choose William:
    [1/1] William: 'Ello. Maro Peaks? Gladly, lad. Anything to help a fellow citizen.
    Once you choose your three, enter the boat. (Please Note: From now on in this idea, I will be using NPC #1, NPC #2 and NPC #3, this refers to whatever NPCS you chose in order from the first one you chose to the last one)
    [1/1] NPC #1: Alrighty mates! Let's get going, shall we?
    [1/1] NPC #3: Are you being serious? YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO DRIVE IT?
    [1/1] Jimmy: Folks, let's calm down. This was expected, I'll teach 'em.
    [1/3] Jimmy: Here are directions. The boat will keep moving forward. These maps are enchanted.
    [2/3] Jimmy: You will hold it, and it will show where ya are and move with you.
    [3/3] Jimmy: Move your head wherever you want the ship to go. That's basically it.
    If you take a wrong turn:
    [1/1] Jimmy: Woah, wrong turn! NPC #1, go help him. I can't, I'm not old enough!
    [1/1] NPC #1: It would be alot better if you were experience...
    NPC #1 turned you back on the right track. Phew.
    If you make it halfway through, another ship comes. A Bad one:
    [1/1] Jimmy: Crud! It's a ghost ship! [Player's name], you need to stop moving it, step away from the wheel!
    [1/2] Jimmy: We're firing the cannons, mate! Be sure to fend off those damn undead!
    It teleports you back 5 blocks. Everytime you try to go back to the wheel:
    You don't want the ship to move again while in battle!
    When it teleports you back, Undead Pirates from the ghost ship start spawning. While Jimmy and the others are below deck, firing the cannons, you need to fend off the undead. On the screen there is a timer counting down how much longer you have to fend off the undead. When timer runs out, there is a cutscene of the ghost ship firing their biggest cannonball (TNT) at the ship, blowing it up.
    You spawn again with blindess for 3 seconds on a beach.
    Text:
    You should probably find the others. They have to be out there somewhere.
    You search the beach and find a jungle. There is a path leading to a camp of natives. When you enter the camp, the natives attack you and you have to fight them. There is a a campfire with the four other crew members tied up (With armor stand stuff) onto a pole (Fences). You have to put the fire out by clicking a button and then untie the crew.
    [1/1] Jimmy: Thanks. Look, I guess mission failed. I don't care anymore, I put you all through so much trouble...how are we going to get home though?
    [1/1] NPC #3: I brought some scrolls just in case.
    [1/1] Jimmy: Good. As an apology, here. Take these emeralds.
    [Quest Complete: Captain of the Ship]
    +9000 EXP
    +320 Emeralds
    +1 Nemract Teleportation Scroll

    A few questions need to be answered before this can flourish

    Where is the jungle? Why are they in a jungle? Where did the ghost ship come from? Why do you only have to solve a few puzzles? What's the point of the choice? Why do they want to go to Maro Peaks?

    And most importantly, why do you want another royal trials sections?

    1. Next to the beach.
    2. Because that is where natives live. Plus, they were stranded from the defeat of the ghost ship.
    2.5 (Cause why not): It's the ghost ship from the Ice Nations quest.
    3. This quest wasn't meant for puzzles.
    4. No real point, just to make more variety.
    5. Because Jimmy has heard about it, and wants to see it. Basically, they want to sight-see it.
    6. Wait what? Idk what you're talking about, probs cause I'm not lvl 98 and havent done that quest yet....

    It's good - until you find out that seaskipper exists so you need to rework the first chunk of dialogue completely.

    The beach is on an island. They were stranded on an island. You never find out where it is, because where the island is doesn't matter.

    Then why go to the island anyways?

    Is this meant to render the literal reward of the quest redundant because of the teleportation scroll?

    That doesn't seem like good design to me

    But seriously, this is a good point. I'd say put a seaskipper port there, like the really basic ones on minor ports which only sell tickets to nemract selchar and Llevigar, but that brings up this point:
    So... Maybe two teleport scrolls? Idk lol.

    Also, maybe you could have to do little puzzles/parkour/battles to recruit the sailors?

    I'm sorry to point them out but there are some errors making this happen.
    It doesn't make sense for a level 29 to go to a level 60 place there is a map you know.
    Is the bob were talking about is a legend or is it some random guy because you can't have 2
    Npcs the same name it doesn't work.
    Is the ghost ship the one next to dead island where you go at level 40.
    Where the hell is the beach you land on at there is no shore anywhere close to a jungle or is it just another island.
    There has not been one quest where you need scrolls to get out of so why this one.
    That's pretty much it the rest is a pretty good idea though

    i never said they made it to maro peaks it just dosent make sence for a level 29 main objective is to find a level 60 place(Read my sentence correctly)
    btw number 2 and 3 are the same question I don't think you understand but still Robert npc name was bob have you done reincarnation...
    yeah I realized I frick up on the ghost ship one and the beach one
    do I really wanna be forced to use a scroll to get to this one place if were going by modern day quests they seem like they don't even know what a scroll even is. Even the only actual deserted island quest(Fantastic Voyage) Brings you to a place where you can get out without using a scroll.
