    Quest for the Holy Grail
    Level 58

Starting NPC: Arthur. Found in Troms.

    [1/3]
Arthur: It must be...no. No it can't be there...
[2/3] Arthur: Hmm? Who's there? Oh, I didn't see you there.

[3/3] Arthur: Could you perhaps...no nevermind. Come back when you're Level 58.

[1/7] Arthur: Wait...what if it's...yes, yes! It must be-
[2/7] Arthur: What? Oh, greetings traveler. I didn't see you come in.
[3/7] Arthur: Say, you seem like you've been on your fair share of adventures. How would you like to help find some ancient treasure?
[4/7] Arthur: You see, I've been tracking down the location of a treasure called the Holy Grail.
[5/7] Arthur: Supposedly, any who drink from it are cured from any injury or disease.
[6/7] Arthur: I think I've finally tracked down where it could possibly be. Could you go and try and find it?
[7/7] Arthur: Here are the supposed coordinates. I hope you can find it!

    Quest Book:
Search for the Holy Grail near (X,Y,Z).

[1/7] ???: Halt, adventurer! You may not travel beyond this point.

[1/7] Knight: We are the Knights who say...Nu!
[1/7] Knight: You wish to pass? Very well. But first, a test! Nu!
[1/7] Knight: You must chop down the mightiest tree in the forest with...a trout! Nu!
[1/7] Knight: Go! And do not return until the task is complete! Nu!

That doesn't seem possible. Perhaps you should return to Arthur for advice.

    Quest Book:
    Return to Arthur.

[1/6] Arthur: You're back! Have you found it?
[2/6] Arthur: Knights who say Nu? Oh bother, not them.
[3/6] Arthur: They're awful people. They block travelers' paths and putting them through terrible trials.
[3/6] Arthur: Those who oppose them seldom live to tell the tale.
[4/6] Arthur: But if they're blocking the path that supposedly leads to the Holy Grail, then we have a problem.

[5/6] Arthur: They asked for you to chop down a tree with...are you serious? Of all the ridiculous...
[6/6] Arthur: Well, we have no choice. There is a pond full of trout not far from here. Go catch one, and see if you have any luck with that ridiculous task.

    Quest Book:
Go to (X,Y,Z) and fish up a trout.

On the way to the trout pond, a knight in black stands in the path, though he doesn't seem to react to your approach.
    [1/1] Black Knight: ...

However, if you try to go by him...
[1/3] Black Knight: None shall pass!

[2/3] Black Knight: I move for no man!
[3/3] Black Knight: If you wish to pass...then you shall die!

    Boss: Black Knight
Mob: Zombie in black armor with a black knight head, wielding an iron sword.
    Attack Type: Melee
    Lvl: 60
    Health: 65,000
    Weakness: None
    Attack: None
    Resistence: None
    Damage: 400-650
    Walk speed: Medium
    Spells: Charge, Multihit

With the Black Knight seemingly defeated, you carry on.
[1/3] Black Knight: Wait! Get back here! The fight is mine! The Black Knight always triumphs!
[2/3] Black Knight: My injuries? Pah, just a flesh wound!
[3/3] Black Knight: Oh, running away, I see? You chicken! Come back here and take what's coming to you!

You've found the trout pond. Conveniently, that tree nearby seems to be the largest in the forest. Best get this over with...

If you try to chop the tree without a trout...
Despite what seems like basic logic, you can't chop this tree down without a trout.

    After you get a trout...
It seems like a daunting task, but regardless of the impossibility, you walk up to the tree, trout in hand.
You wind back the trout, and go for a mighty swing!
It doesn't even make a dent.
After several minutes of wailing away at the tree, you've completely mangled the poor trout. Despite this, you've barely made an inch of progress.
This task is pointless. You're best option is to just plead to the Knights to let you pass.

    Quest Book:
Go back to the Knights who say Nu.

[1/5] Knight: You have returned! And that splinter filled trout in hand indicates that you have completed your trial!

[2/5] Knight: Very well! You may pass! Nu!
[3/5] Knight: But be warned. An unspeakable evil lurks beyond this path.
[4/5] Knight: It would be wise to turn back, rather than face this beast.
[5/5] Knight: If you truly wish to move on, then may the gods have mercy on your soul...Nu!

    Quest Book:
Face the beast, and bring [1 Holy Grail] back to Arthur.

    Boss: Killer Rabbit
    Mob: White Rabbit
    Attack Type: Melee
    Lvl: 62
    Health: 70,000
    Weakness:
    Fire
    Attack: Thunder
    Resistence: Earth
    Damage: 600-750
    Walk speed: Fast
    Spells: Multihit
    Drops: Holy Grail

[1/5] Arthur: You're back! You have it this time, right?
[2/5] Arthur: This is it...the Holy Grail! Finally, after all this ti-
[3/5] Arthur: Wait a minute...it's just a fancy cup! No magic healing powers or anything!
[4/5] Arthur: I guess the legends aren't true after all. Oh well...at least it will look good on my mantelpiece.
[5/5] Arthur: I suppose the least I could do is to reward you for your efforts, even if this quest did end up fruitless...

    Quest Complete!
    +18 EB
    +20,000 EXP

Feel free to change up the stats as necessary. I never know what the appropriate stats should be. This includes the starting level and reward.

I mean, it does seem like a good quest idea, but this really is just a rehash of the events of Monty Python and the Holy Grail

maybe if you kept most things to just being a reference and not a full-on retelling, it would be better as a quest for it

I was actually worried about that kind of thing. Subtlety is not my strong suit, though. I'm just surprised there isn't a Monty Python inspired quest yet.

I forgot about those things. I just didn't want it to be a straight copy of the Knights who say Nee (or however it's spelled). I suppose they could just be changed to the Knights of Nii or something like that.

I like the idea, but I think the cup should be called something else than the holy grail as it is a very important christian religious item and should be treated with respect.

That religious holy texts also supports slavery, has a bunch of demons run a goat of aa clif, has impossible flood, a guy parting seas with help of God and let's not forget that one first humans born on earth was killed by his brother with a rock.
Also let's not forget that all and powerfull god needs to create everything in 7 days.

Getting offended over an item that exsists in the bibble is like getting angry becouse your ship isn't cannon.

And the points you made justifies to disrespect peoples faith, if the item in question would be something from islam like quran, I presume you would have nothing against to just change the name of the item in question to someting different? Since we all know how well muslims take interpertations on their religion.

Also how would something like the grail fit in wynn lore? Changing the cups name makes no real difference to the quest.

I guess we could change the item's name like in Lord of the Rings Quest, but what I'm saying is that we shouldn't change something JUST becouse it offends somebody.
By that logic I could argue to remove Recipe for disaster quest, as it involves player going to the moon and that doesn't fit fantasy world.
Also what point are you trying to make bout Islam and Christianity? I wouldn't just chang the name of the item becouse I'm being threatened by religion of terror.

Even lord of the clock has changed the original names slightly rather than just sticking them to the quest untouched, and I think that you know that you cant compare a parody of a fantasy and a parody of peoples faith.

I can see that we dont see the same way about the matter so after this post I wont continue the debate.
