World Make Molten Hights Great Again!

Ever since corkus update, no one goes to molten heights anymore. Grinding? Csst. Lootrun? THE WHOLE CORKUS ISLAND IS FOR YOU TO LOOT RUN! There's no point for molten heights anymore...

So I decided it's time, for a new quest!
Now for a new quest, it has to be ORIGINAL! I read through the GM doc and I found I few ideas
1: The starting NPC HAS to be in Rodoroc! Besides a few info NPCs, there's no one to talk to so have fun doing absolutely nothing

2: The struggle to get to dogovi is NOT worth it, so how about we spice a few things up for dogovi?
- incase the builders have time, they can do another quest , a short minor one since dogovi is the new elkern...
- add a few more shopping NPCs since they're is barely any.
- add a backstory to it, how did dogovi become a city (there probs is a reason and I'm just stupid)

3: add another quest, make it long (but not like freaking TOA, TOL, Bob's lost soul, etc long!) and make it a reason to travel throughout the entire molten heights, and give it some good XP since it's a big hassle to go through molten heights!

4: Last but not least, make it have the original reason to go there, increase the good old way to get XP, grinding! I mean, that's what molten heights was originally for, right? maybe get more XP, or even make the whole molten heights an entire hell hole! (I mean, that's molten Heights' enemies riiight??)

No one will probably see this and I probably just wasted 30 min of my time typing this...

 

Mh storyline will be released eventually, as for this quest, you didnt explain what happens in it at all! How do you think it will get submitted if we dont know what it's at all about?

A molten heights quest line is apparently coming soon™ (aka never), so be patient I guess? I feel like molten heights is interesting enough, and will become even better once lore is officially established.

I made a couple of mistakes, but this was only a preview, net time, ima go full depth into molten heights and maybe have 10 reason + ill do a poll if molten hights should be updated It should come out tomorrow if I have the time

Grinding in CSST is just more efficient. If you wanted to grind fast (who wouldn't), go to CSST. Freezing Heights is still, of course, still viable as a single-player grinding spot, but most players seem to prefer getting levels quick but in short bursts (for instance, get 3 levels than wait a week or two to get 3 more) rather than accumulating levels over time (which is much more boring, but still an efficient way to level up if you can't get to a CSST party).
Molten heights loot chests got nerfed, such as changing t3 chests into t2, or adding a few blocks so it's harder and more time-consuming to get to chests. When corkus came out, we had a way to lootrun at the same level range except without all those time-consuming changes. And we didn't have to worry about falling in lava.

This is like saying "reduce lag" but not putting any suggestion as to how to do such a thing.

As I'm sure you're aware of, the CT has a molten heights questline planned soon (although it's not coming.. until like 2307 or something. So we wait. Quality over quantity, I guess).

I do think Rodoroc and Dogovi need more content, but I believe it will come in the Molten Heights questline (yay more waiting). Of note is a half-finished easter egg/quest in Dogovi. I don't remember the exact details, though.

 

Struggle? Dogovi's not very difficult to reach. Anyway, Molten Heights quests have been a known missing area, and we have several quests promised for a fairly imminent 1.17 update, this may well be some of those.
There is a unique reason to go to Dogovi now, and that's the accessory merchant, selling decent endgame items you can only get there.

Molten Heights is probably still the best place to grind mobs (does not require dungeon bombs to work), and Freezing Heights is still a good place to grind solo when you can't find a CSST party. The area is still great for grinding, the only reason it's not as well used is that CSST is overpowered. Nerfing CSST (making it take longer, decreasing the reward a bit, etc.) is far better than buffing Molten Heights mob grinding, which is reasonably fast and fairly balanced.

 

I agree more with technocharmander. We need more stuff, quests, storylines, merchants, grinding, in the molten heights and it needs to happen quick before the wynn community dies out. I just went exploring again over Rodoroc, I'm not sure what the place is called, and there is nothing but a few natives, houses, and aggressive mobs. The place already has a great landscape, and could be perfect for more quests if a little time was put into it. I think one quest for each lvl between the ones we have now would be great. Maybe a lvl 91 introduction to the biome, a lvl 92 storyline Rodoroc quest, a lvl 93 Dogovi fetch quest, and a lvl 94 quest on top of Rodoroc, maybe having something to do with the natives and the volcano. Thanks for reading my input! I know this stuff isn't easy to create, but besides the armor satchel that i have been pushing for for forever, I think that this is the best way to improve wynn atm. Oh, actually fixing the damn mythic prices would be good too. Btw, my armor satchel idea would be something you could buy, like bank space, so that you could keep another set of armor and accessories in it and keep it with you to change armor rather quickly depending on the situation's needs without filling up 8 slots of your inventory or having to go back to the bank. Say you need to need to go a long distance, so you have your speed set on to make it go quicker, but then when you get there you realize you have to fight a boss, and you would die with the speed set, as its not made for fighting. You could switch your armor and right there and then. WIthout using your precious inventory space needed for potions, loot, etc. Also, and I still don't understand why this isn't in the game yet, make it so that you can have memorized skill point settings. If you have more than one build for a class, than you could click a button and bam, still two sp lost, but you don't have to re-enter your sp every time. Wynncraft could even charge emeralds per memorized build slot you bought. Just something to make the boring parts go by faster. Thanks!

Stop hating on the devs, they're working very hard to get a new update out. You think they don't know this already? The next update comes out in a little bit more than a week I think.
And if you're going to say all this, make a new thread, and ADD SOME DETAIL. Don't just say a bunch of random stuff without going into detail when the devs are further along than you are.

true actually, it's very hard just to make 1 quest, and don't forget, grian built the wynn province almost all by himself until fans started volunteering to help build gavel, if I were to build an exact copy of llivigar from now, i'd probably be around 40 when I finish, this thread was only a poster like you see on your electricity pole near your house, and just a few ideas for the future of molten hights, plz no h8

Lol and the hate begins, as I said it would. Oh and also if you could read NPCGrain you would see that I said I agreed with technocharmander, so I obviously knew that people had already said things like this. I was elaborating my point. If you're gonna hate, have something to back you up, not just your six year old attitude putting people down to make your life livable.
