    Most player just find an easy area in Parkour and they just escape, teleport and leap. The work and creativity the builders and command blockers have put into Parkour would be wasted. Assassins may have some speed, but even then speed can sometimes kill you.

    I am requesting a change in that. I think that All spells should be disabled in Parkour so players actually have to try. Some players that could easily get through the mobs will have a whole new challenge and doesn't just rely on how much damage they deal.

    You can cheat parkour with assassin too

    you always could, but now even more so with the mini-charge

    mobility is part of the balance of the classes, doing this is just sugar-coating what's already a cakewalk

    this is even worse

    parkour really isn't meant to be much of a challenge, that's where the puzzles come in
    it only exists to be more exciting than walking on flat ground for extended periods of time.

    This will only make everyone hate parkour, and require that several parkour courses be completely redesigned, due to being impossible without the use of spells.

    The server's code doesn't allow this yet, you just have to wait for more than 6 months for the code refactor update, you would just have to get used to the current system

    I dont know any Parkour that requires spells, and if you mean spells as the launcher in infested pit, its not a spell. Parkour is a challenge as well.

    One I can think of off the top of my head is the opening of Bob's tomb.

    I don't think parkour is meant to be a real challenge, it's more of a filler (parkour rather than having a hallway). Bosses and puzzles are the real challenges.

    Well I take it as a challenge as some players actually cant do it (my friend took 10 min)
    and they wouldn't have Parkour instead of a hallway they just wouldn't have any.

    Bobs tomb isn't really a Parkour you dont jump at all

    Yeah, sometimes it takes me forever to do parkour because of archer's speed boost - but:

    By 'challenge' I mean something that requires you to think or is pretty dangerous.
    If the parkour takes 10 minutes but there's no real thinking involved and you just get TP'ed to the start every time you fall, it's more like grinding at frozen heights - it can take a long time, but it's not gonna require you to think.

    The code refactor, I believe, is a planned update the game devs are working on that will change the base program that is used to run Wynncraft to make it more flexible and open it up to new possibilities.

    No I mean something that could possibly restrict me from something. Parkour makes you keep going until you complete it, instead of doing nothing and not serving a purpose, so its a challenge

    imo we should be able to use spells in parkour
    In some places there are barriers so you won't skip parts

    The code refactor is making the code neater so that's its organised and easier to edit, find bugs or add new stuff in. Consider a large piece of code like a library, neat code is all organised by author while badly written code is all over the place. A code refractor like puts everything in the proper place. Badly written code can also be hard to understand again if you come back to it after a while so it's a lot harder to edit.

    I'm so poor at parkour that it can take me HOURS to do some of them. What really needs to take place, is to make multiple parkour paths; tough and short, intermediate and intermediate, easy and long. Don't tell me that everyone will take the easy paths, every time. Many (most?) players will keep trying until they can handle the tough paths. The CT has already done this, once, in Corkus.

    Really? I was thinking more of puzzle parkours like the ice barrows or some other features like the falling ice parkour at santas lair
