Ids Fix

    I found a way to prevent stuff like the conc nerf to happen when an item become super expensive cuz of new id that ruin it or the other way so baicly all the items will have all the ids but any id you dont want on it you put the voulve 0 in so 0 times anything will mean the id doesnt exist so everytime you wanna add ids to armor or wepons you just change the vaulve from 0 to what ever the team want and then shit like this doesnt happen with how the system works rn that is doable

    so basically we just make any other item and ID less valuable and rare, ok



    why would one even want either no ids or very low ones

    you wont understand if you dont know how the system work its baiscly a way to make new ids getting added to an old item so stuff like old conc price being at the sky wont happen again

    They mean they don't understand because you used an exact amount of 0 dots, commas and other things that could make your post a little less complicated.

    TL:DR When balancing an item force all preexisting items to become unidentified so when they get reId'd they will be correct with the new balance changes. This is so items existing before the change don't become more valuable because they lack this balance.

    they dont if it would pepole will lose fuck ton of money but with how the ids system work if you change the base id the id will move acordingly so its more like

    That's pretty good. However, I think it'd be better to just fix the damn bug and let it automatically roll the new id without changing its other ids? That would be way better. Imagine stratiformis getting a new id, rip nyam.

    yup thats true but if that happens the question is how do you make the new id being added the team didnt find an answer to that so I though about suggesting an alternative even tho nothing from here gets added

    This is not the way it works.



    Every item has a json attached to it, the json get rendered by plugin and transformed to (example) "manaregen: 2/4"

    The json is written as: skill -> percentage


    The percentage is a number between 30 and 130 ( or 0 100, dont remember, anyway a range of 101) for positive ids, 70 130 for negative,

    The plugis get that percentage, it multiply by the item avg, rondings and output the identification in a friendly version.


    To fix this they should make all of us re-identify all of our items in to add the missing percentages for identifications and, lemme guess, noone want to lose his godly item.

    Yes, they can probably do somthing about this, they will probably do, but for now it is just that possible/easy to do.

    I have thought of something along these line too, my idea would be that when an item is changed by adding or removing ID's they get a tag that make them unusable until you give it to an identifier to update it, not changing it's current ID's unless it is removing an ID. It would not be a reroll and would not cost any money, it would just be a mandatory update to the items ID's.

    ya it works with pracentages but if we do let them be re ided that will make pepole trigered since they might have an godly item and then they are just being like oh you see this godly item well fuck you so what I though is that if we add to the item base id of 0 than the % it gets doesnt matter wich means we can change it later to the base id we wanna add and then the stat is getting added and shit like conc doesnt happen anymore

    A bad id of 0% means an item has the ability to get 1 point in everything.

    Maybe I dont underatand the system right from what I know it takes the base id and multiplay it so 0×x=0
