Elaborate On Quest Book Message

I was doing the From the Mountains Quest And I was at stage 4; the one where you are required to go into the Whirl Pool and retrieve a item.
I did this, but un lucky for me I didn't get a helmet before hand. So I travel for a solid 10 minutes just to get the Breathing helmet 1.
After I finally get the breathing helmet I go to the Quest Area once again (another 10 minutes+ because I got a little lost) only to see this message:

At first I was like 'oops, I read the quest book message wrong'
But actually this is what the quest book says:

Nothing at all about getting the breathing helmet 2.
So I travel all the way to Nessak, buy the helmet, and it ended up taking me 45 minutes to do the quest

All a bored GM has to do is make the quest book say II on the end.

 

I feel like that part of the book is more outdated than anything. Proof that we need totem's better quest book.

 

Yeah, it is outdated, so they need to update it.

thats why i always go on wiki and read quest before hand

how about we just make it use the bloody original helmet and stop wasting everyone's time?
better yet, just give the player water breathing to lessen helmet overflow
