    I've noticed that the AI types currently in Wynncraft have many limitations. They basically restrict the game to only land-dwelling creatures, and water creatures are made by simply spawning them in water, and flying creatures by giving no gravity. I propose a few more AI types to compensate for this. I've also suggested a few more land-based ones to give more variety to PVE, mostly to more effectively evade attacks.

    Here they are:

    PART 1 - Aquatic Mobs

    AquaPassive - Swims randomly around water, doesn't attack anything. Will never leave water.
    AquaMelee - Swims towards the player and does contact damage. Never leaves water.
    AquaRanged - Stays in water and shoots projectiles at the player, like the land version.
    AquaBerserk - Similar to AquaMelee, attacks all except other AquaBerserk.
    AquaScared - Runs away from the player, doesn't leave water.
    AquaNeutral - Like AquaMelee, only attacks if attacked.

    PART 2 - Flying Mobs

    FlyPassive - Flies around randomly. Could be used for ambient birds.
    FlyMelee - Flies after the player and does contact damage.
    FlyRanged - Does ranged damage while flying.
    FlyBurstRanged - TBH, I really added this only for the Golden Avias.
    FlyNeutral - Melee attacks when attacked first, flies.
    FlyNeutralRanged - Flies and shoots if attacked.
    FlyScared - Flies away from the player.
    Swoop - Flies high above the player and swoops down to melee attack every so often, tracking the player, then returning to height.

    PART 3 - Other

    SpellOnly - No basic attack, fights the player with spells alone.
    Stalker - Stays behind the player to melee attack. Will try to stay out of the player's view.
    Strafe - Runs in a circle around the player while dealing contact damage, can randomly change direction.
    StrafeRanged - Circles the player from a distance while firing projectiles. Again, changes direction.
    StrafeRapidRanged - You get the idea.
    BackRanged - Moves backwards away from the player while firing projectiles.
    DodgeMelee - Melee, but when hit, randomly moves a few blocks to the left or right.
    DodgeRanged - Ranged, when hit moves to the side.
    ChargeStrafe - Like Charge, but zig-zags as it moves.

    I appreciate that the devs are very busy, but the shortage of AI types is most of what makes PVE so easy and predictable. These would add more variety, and allow for greater use of Wynncrafts skies and seas. Also, if you have more AI type ideas, I can add them.

    I definitely support this idea, and hopefully people will actually add AI types and stats when writing suggestions after reading this (it's the bane of my existence).

    I like those. Some of them already exist in vannila minecraft (like squids/guardians can be aqua and creepers I believe try to avoid getting into player's field of view)

    I agree, this would add some great diversity in the game, but I also think this is so much coding, it might as well be an update itself. Otherwise, great ideas.

    Would the "Stalker" AI type account for the player going into 3rd person view (activated by pressing F5, default key)? And if this do gets added, it may be part of the code refactor update

    I don't think so, it would make it a lot harder to code. Anyway, most attacks target mobs in front of the player - having it that way would defeat part of the purpose of the type. It's not only harder to locate the mob, but you have to keep moving in order to target it. Actually, imagine if CoW used this... it would fit its whole thing, but make the fight a lot harder... maybe the Mechorrupter had it?

    I like the idea of more diversity in wildlife, but you have to take in account that most classes have poor vertical ranged capabilities when it comes to battling flying mobs.
    Warrior has War scream, but without the 'War Scream - Life Steal' glitch and possible knockback-0, it becomes close to useless. All other warrior spells are horizontal.
    Mage has limited melee range, and don't tell me you will try to meteor a moving bird out of the sky...
    Assassin just has poor ranged capabilities in general. I am pretty sure smoke bomb will not help with that cause.

    So yes, I support this, but I don't think FlyRanged is such a good idea... The only reason the Golden Avias doesn't get trashed on, is because it has incredibly low health and it has a 'pull' spell that propels the player to it. And it doesn't move in the air. And it's semi-rare (not really, but Corkus isn't exactly overrun with them).

    seems nice!, plus what about the "floating head" mods? what if you could put those could be put under fly melee, so it could have a bit more movement? also +1000000000 from me!

    Those Flying Mobs Ai sound a lot like Swarms.
    It scares me. Overall Great Idea.
