Seaskipper Quest

for a new quest for wynn gives a backstory to the seaskipper captain. He will be in a cave to start the mission at level 95 near selchar. His identinty will be ??? and after you talk to him he will say he is the seaskipper captain and his name is Taob (he got the boat).he will tell you that you will need to talk to his brothers- Dlareme- Dnal and Atreous. They will be next to each other. They will tell you to get items that the seaskipper captain talks about when you travel Make the sodeta boots a quest item and that will be one of the the items he wants and the other things like redbeards hair and coral sapphire, mooingtons skin. Then you will talk to the seaskipper captain and he will tell you to help him fight off the greed of villagers in a secret hoarding area with big political symbols or talk to the authorities and get him arrested. You will get armor that gives a huge bonus of loot after you talk to seaskipper captain and agree to take down greed OR get an item that you can trade to a merchant for an op weapon an get 20 LE

 

This quest is all over the place, confuses me, and I don't like it

 

Ok, let's go (Note that this is constructive criticism, I'll criticize the idea saying how to improve)

If you want to explain the Seaskipper story, it's better if it starts at Nemract, where you start using the Seaskipper.

You also can't temporarily hide the name of a NPC, you would have to be teleported to one of those "worlds" where blocks change, etc.

Sodeta Boots is untradable, not a Quest Item, you can drop it and people probably won't have it on level 95. You say that the player has to make, making an item again is boring, create something new, something never seen before!

You don't give a meaning why the captain want those items, try explaining that.

The rest is kinda random, he is the guy who takes people between islands and now he wants help to kill villagers...

If your quest has a choice it has to be a "give-item" action, so the last stage can't happen.

Wouldn't it be better to start in Nemract? Where you first get access to the Seaskipper?

The symbol of Troms? Selchar? Cinfras? Something else?

Why would getting rid of the "greed of villagers" be something that could get someone arrested?

How much health, defense, ids, etc.

What item?

Ids, damage, etc.

This is far too much for a level 95 quest. Do 5LE or something.
Is there an xp reward? There better be.

How does this in any way expand the character of the Seaskipper Captain?
He already has a backstory.
He had a lot of brothers, and they inherited everything that their father had. The Seaskipper Captain was left with the Seaskipper, so he uses it to cart people across the ocean.
There's even a dialogue that makes a joke about his name (or lack therof).

 

Why is this lvl 95

 

I Do Believe there should be some kinda quest introducing the seaskipper but not like this as it is all over the place and why level 95 it should be at a level around the people of nemract and be based around nemract. Although there should be a quest for the seakskipper not like this and why make xp and loot armour when theres is cosmic

 

thought the beginning part was a great idea and then it went off topic with the getting arrested by speaking to the authorities bit because that had nothing really to do with seaskipper captain

 

I like the idea that you have but it lacks details. Which type of for example would you have to fight? And why level 70 ish items for a lvl 95 quest... doesnt seem to make sense to me

 

There has already been a big quest about the villager greed with the elves near Cinfras

 

there is way too much rewards at the end. Seriously royal trials doesnt even give u that much. And its basically the same as bobs lost soul/reincarnation. And like the realjesus says its just like the aldorei quest.

i could do level 80 but the reason why such a high level is for the fact that you need every quest item you got in the past that has a conection to the seaskippers words when you travel with him

He has explicitly stated that thats not his real name

 

He said: "of course my name isn't seaskipper captain, oh wait it is". Or something like that

 

There is a whole paragraph of dialogue you can receive on the Seaskipper commenting about the captain's lack of a name.
It's pretty funny, actually.
