I like grinding, not at high levels but I don't have to because dungeon speed runs
It's fun to watch your XP bar skyrocket after killing 3 mobs

It works in other MMO's and it would probably work in Wynn as well. Loved it! +2

If they add this, it will be at least 6 more years until they add Drun'Dek :(.

You don't only gain experience in life by doing completely new things. Otherwise practicing for sports or games or otherwise wouldn't do anything. It's the same principle when you think of grinding, just to a slightly more monotonous degree. That monotony is the issue, though, not grinding itself. For example, a game that takes tons of doing one thing over and over and over, Melee. To perfect any given technique, the best way to practice it and gain more experience doing it is to repeat it until you can do it well and do it consistently.
This is an interesting idea, but in the long run it really wouldn't make much of a difference, and there'd be a huge difference between effort to add this feature and the impact it will make. For this to be viable, as in being able to level up by mob-hunting, it would need to be multiplied by hundreds.
    Eh, that's fair enough.
Yeah okay this would be fine if not for the limit of once per chest location. Sure, it won't be spammable, but it would also be completely useless at your proposed rates. A limit is good, yes, but not once per lifetime.
I feel like this part ignores your own logic. Finding a random shrine wouldn't give you more experience than anything else, it wouldn't really teach you anything. Instead of "Shrines," why not make it "Ancient Ruins" or something similar, where you can read a tidbit of lore from a book NPC, that also gives you some XP? Or have a message triggered by entering them that says "You inspect the walls of the ruins and find carvings detailing ancient fighting techniques..." Really, anything but a basic shrine.
Wait, but the existing discoveries already do give XP... Or is that only some of them? I recall finding the Llevigar Library results in an XP reward, at least.
Yeah this one's literally just Discoveries. I feel like this is only here to have 5 parts to your suggestion rather than 4. This really should just be a sub-section of Discoveries.
    Sure

All in all, this is a good idea. Having once suggested something similar myself, I quite like this thread. Good job, but it does need a few changes. 7/10

That is my mistake, I didnt realize discoveries gave XP. I thought discoveries were what finding relics were called

I realize that now, my mistake again

    Loot chest xp.
Xp does not work like that.
A quarter minibar at level 1 is like 1/10000000 of a bar at level 100.
You need to set the EXP amount in set numerals.
Besides that yes I will always support reasonable alternatives to grinding.
