'the Passage' Quest Boss Too Strong For The Required Lvl

The old version of 'the passage' only required you to gather 48 zombie eye.
Now it is required to defeat a boss and 12 zombies eye.
Since the zombie eye's drop rate is increased, a boss is added to increased the difficulty.
BUT
There seems to have an oversight on the difficulty of the boss, making it too strong for level 57 players to defeat.
Also, the quest is supposed to be in the easy difficulty.

My suggestion is... to just nerf down the (boss's) side mob's spawn rate and the boss's health along with its attack damage. (Or remove the boss's special attack which traps you in a rapid attack for ~10 times)

Bosses aren't meant to be done solo at level, and boss altars are ~2x the strength of an average boss for that level (passage boss is only 1.5x or so)

I solo'd it as a level 51 with a level 44 legendary dagger

It's not hard

If it is hard, as other people said, just kill it with other people.

 

I think it's a bit counter intuitive to have more than one player nedded to complete a quest.
A quest labeled as "esasy" for that matter.

 

The difficulty is set automatically by the number of steps in the quest, and not how difficult it actually is. GMs can't change it. This is why ??? is only medium - the difficulty of the puzzles and the effort gone in to complete each step is not counted, or it would be clearly a hard quest.

 

so that's why urdar is on steroids and adabasta----mastor has 400k health

It's meant to be done together with other ppl such as friends. And if you have no friends wait till ur lvl 100 and one shot the boss

 

I don't think the quest is required to access the altar
so they could've soloed the boss before ever starting the quest

 

You can enter the boss alter at level 42

It's not the boss or the minions it is the bosses multihit that is the problem.

 

He can one shot a warior with his multihit 100% of the time when all sp are on defense think about poor archers even if its couple of level 57 pepole not all of them will survive I soloed it yes but with fuck ton of agility and a lot if luck

 

Yeah but you can hear when he going to do his multihit, and in that time his speed is significantly lowered so it's quite easy to escape, but I agree with the difficulty with the boss, I was running a warrior at the time and needed stat potions (mainly to outdamage the healers)

The only bosses I ever need help to solo was qira, death (I was level 70, gimme a chance), and wybel. I've never fought a quest boss that I needed help with besides the two quests that are different than any other quest, such as the passage

 

no i dont mean 5% of the bosses, in any mmorpg, bosses are supposed to be fought with a team
