Yeah besides the darkness and shattered minds but I'm fairly sure that kids under 12 aren't the audience Wynn is aiming for. So we're not supposed to be child friendly.

Ingame there is a chat filter command and on the forums you need to be atleast to be 13 years old to register so you are old enough to handle swearing.
It would also be censorship if people can't express themself on the forums i can understand if it's just a person spamming swear words or they attack a person, but if a person is not doing that then the person should be in the clear.

The fact that Salted said in the rules that do not excessively curse means that cursing is allowed, as long as you don't excessively do it. This proves that Wynncraft doesn't care if you curse, as long as you don't direct it to someone, or spam the chat with profanity.

 

Noone of you realize that OP is suggesting this so he can block/ censor anyone who disagree's with his suggestions.
Or you're just not saying it I don't know.

 

Some highly offensive slurs such as the n-word are censored, but regular curse words aren't.

I know why you want this, you want people to stop insulting you directly just because they don't like your idea. I get it, back when I made a suggestion I got so much criticism (I made this speech before didn't I?) but I kept going. But anyways a chat filter would be good, for like 3 words. It's great we get to say whatever we want rather than just saying. I *** hate this ****. It is ***** and should *** itself.

 

Just because we harshly criticise and say something is trash, ahem, fucking trash, doesn't mean that that was a waste of your time. Generally people go "This is trash because..." In your suggestions, such as Corrupted Areas or Timmy Tod, it was hated upon because it shaped WynnCraft in the direction that nobody wanted, not because you made it. The current problem with economy is inflation : the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Timmy Tod was NOT the way to fix that. So it was generally hated upon. Swears are there fore emphasis. If you say fuck all stormtrooper (first phrase to come to mind) instead of bad stormtrooper, it generally comes out stronger and is a way for us to get our ideas across.

Considering that NPC's in the game even swear I can safely say that this game is not child friendly.

If you want an example, 2 of the NPC's in Rise of the Quartron swear.
Nasea says "damnit"
and Popo says "How the hell"
