Pets & Horses New Horse - Mule

Mae govannen folks!
As there is the glitch where sometimes a mule/donkey appears instead of a horse, I got the idea of a new kind of horse here. Now, I know there are a lot of horse suggestions out there and a lot are unbalanced or not very good, but mine is different I promise - speaking of things suggested a lot, this also tends to another problem and thing suggested (though in other ways) - Inventory Space.

The horse salesman in Terneaves would sell not only a brown horse for 24 eb, but a mule (with the mule skin) for 2 le {Price can be determined but 2 le seems fair - making it worth the same as a black horse}. Now, this mule would have the stats of 5/5 BUT it would have a chest in it which allows you to store stuff as in vanilla Minceraft.. I am not sure if this is possible but the chest could save when you spawn and despawn the donkey and across all donkeys would have the same inventory to save from people abusing the mule in having their bank filled with them and each of them having their own inventory. Other horses would not be able to be stored in the chest, it will exit you out and drop the item on the ground saying:
"You cannot store this item in here."

So basically - a portable chest with the same mechanics as an enderchest but stored in the butt of a donkey.

First ever suggestion, probably not great, probably needs to be expanded on.​

A whole vanilla chest seems too OP. Go for the 3x3.

By chest I meant just the chest in the donkey which is 3x3

i think the inventory capacity of donkeys/mules are random just like llamas (who uses those anyways)

 

It is determined by horse sstats,
such as jump, and speed

Tho Mules always have a base speed, so all vanilla mules have the same exact speed,

I'm not sure if those stats can be edited,

Guys. you're forgetting breeding.
You could breed pack mules to get a higher tier pack mule.
T1 - 5 levels 3x3 slots
T2 - 10 levels 3x4 slots
T3 - 15 levels 3x5 slots
T4 - 20 levels 3x6 slots

 

But all those equal 1/1
Just make them whole numbers

Then the tier 4 would have the cost of breeding two white horses..
The rich will get richer and the poor'll stay the same.

Well, while I don't think it's bad, I myself wouldn't really push for it to be added.

It's a fine idea, and it's decently balanced as is: 3x3 inventory space in return for reduced mobility. Despite that, I still feel like most people would end up just using it to gain extra inventory space and use a different horse as real transportation. On top of that, I'd say it's probably more worth it to implement Better Banks as a solution for the storage issues.

Even so, this suggestion is an interesting idea that would add some nice variety to horses without providing too much mobile inventory space. In the end, it's good but a bit unnecessary. Perhaps you could try adding more features to the suggestion, like other varying kinds of horse, animal, or transportation.

 

It's not mean as a bank storage but extra inventory space while travelling sorta thing.

 

But mule's aren't able to reproduce/breed...

This post is about mules, so assuming he didn't comment on the wrong post, he too is talking about mules/mule breeding. Context matters. Besides, after looking up some definitions, i found around zero definitions using the word like you claim it is to be used
