Wynncraft Is Getting Boring..

I was tired when I wrote this ok?

I'm still only lvl 76 but have put over 30 hours in, traded alot for stacks of LE, and joined a high lvl guild. I cant think of much else to do apart from either grind, do boring quests, or keep looking for discoveries and altars. That's why I'm bored.

I don't play wynn for the quests and shit anymore, so I joined the CT 2 weeks ago. I now see how much work the crew has put into the game, and have a lot more respect for the team. Perhaps you should explore things that don't make sense to you, become massively rich, or even join the CT like I did. Other than that, I would suggest just beating through and grinding to at least level 89, if possible level 90, and doing the quests before that. They really are very well made.

The old quests were made with (I believe) just yml scripts, with no custom things like the catapult in envoy II, whereas now we have a whole new system(ish) to make amazing new quests. I hope you can stick around to see them. :)

EDIT: And yes, the fallen factory dungeon is by far the best one in the game. ;)

 

I agree that some of the CoTL quests suck (Maruder's Dues, From the Bottom, Canyon Guides) but some of them are really fun (Hidden City, Enter the Dojo) And the corkus quests are unique and fun. Even my least favorite corkus quest, desperate metal, is still fun to play. I hate that pipe puzzle tho.
Almost all of the boss altars have a gimmick that make them unique, with the most unique one being the orange Wybel. I have mixed feelings about fallen factory. I agree that's it's the most unique dungeon, but it's really long for a dungeon and it's tedious to get the item you want, especially if you want an accessory.

 

i feel like i cheated (i didn't) cause i'm literally a few % left to 100 and still have most of Corkus, guild system, discoveries, dungeons (never tried them before), boss altars and making my mage build left

 

We are trying to explore making quests more interesting and fun, but as the quality increases, so does the workload. So while with updates like Corkus you're starting to see more varied quests, those only make up a small fraction of all the quests. Our new quest system is allowing us to do some pretty cool things though, so I hope quests like those will eventually become the norm, rather than exceptions.

While most of the best content is at the high levels, I also understand that the journey to those levels might not be as fun. It's definitely a problem that we're aware of.

For now, try some boss altars or corrupted dungeons. Those are great sources of XP outside of quests. And as has been said before, some of the best quests are still ahead of you, so I hope you'll enjoy those for now.

 

You're level 76 now don't you dare to complain about quests because you have the luxury of not being lvl 90+

 

wynncraft started to get boring for me when i got my first 100 and started another class, all the quests were so familiar and i knew exactly what to do basically, I think at that point the only things left for me to do is do dungeons and mess around with different class builds

 

I don't know why people are trying to hide the fact that we do have "bad quests" per say at the lower and mid tier levels. This is, as Tantibus said, something the administrators and CT are very aware of, and wishing to improve upon.

In an ideal scenario, even the lower levelled quests could be fun, and there should be no need to wait for the fun.

Also, I have a feeling that the Main Storyline will help a lot during boring periods of the game, and be the better part of the fun periods.

 

It's hard to make a server like this to not fade inte "boringness". The CT is working constantly on improving the game and making the game funnier for us players, and we should appreciate it. Wynncraft isn't designed as normal vanilla minecraft, aka a sandbox game. Once you're done with all the quests and you have found all discoveries etc, you're done for, content-wise.

This doesn't mean you can't come up with new stuff to do. Do events with your friends! Horseracing, boatracing, or something completely else. The world is yours, you know!

 

Well, then this might be something to look forward to.

 

I've stated why before, but I feel like I've done a fairly good job working within these constraints, at least.

you could start a new class (doing those quests again), csst, chill at detlas server 1, loot runs, and more stuff that im leaving some1 else to say.
