    Alright! You may be a bit new to the game
    But in recent updates, The amount of Soul points, correlates to the amount of items you lose.

    For example, right now on my level 52 mage, I have 13SP (Additional 1 per 15 levels)
    So I only lose about 28% of my junk items on my first death
    My next death I lose even more junk, and some emeralds
    This keeps going up and up and up
    I can start losing weapons, Including Mythics and Legendarys
    Stacks of LE
    and so forth


    Basically the more you die the more you lose

    So take a break once and a while from dynig
