I've heard this from a few people who know it actually.
What's so bad about it? From what I've seen it isn't that different from English.

 

Like a lot of people said, Hypixel is 1st place in most players playing. normaly at one point wynncraft has 400-800 players online, Hypixel 19000-30000 player online at once. Please, don't compare a VERY LOWLY AWESOME SERVER (Wynncraft) to a very known very high stupid server hypixel.

 

It has messed up grammar rules which are hard to understand due to the amount of exceptions. I see them as completely useless as no one ever speaks Dutch outside of the Netherlands anyways.

 

I would just say that it's possible

The 'ough' in each of these words is pronounced differently. English makes no sense, as do pretty much all languages. Why don't we all start speaking Latin again? Latin makes slightly more sense, relatively speaking.

 

English is already the unniversal language and taught in almost every country

And I want guilds first, the people who really want this just seem to be kids who don't know English. Even though the fact Wynn is in English is really useful for them to learn English.

 

English is the the third most spoken in the world, Chinese is first and Spanish is second.
English is easy if you already know a germaan or Latin language but it's a stupid and hard language and it's a young bastard language

 

Chinese because of china, but even in china english is an offered course.

And Spanish because south america and Columbus and shit

 

The entire America's speak Spanish

 

The only reason Chinese and Spanish beat out English is because China has a ridiculously high population, and Spanish is the main language spoken by every country south of the USA., not to mention Spain exists as well.
English is pretty simple to understand in writing, since we use basic word parts, but once you get to speaking it's annoying af.

 

Nah not Canada, and in America it isnt an official language

 

And don't forget the fact a lot of languages in north Europe are similar to English.

Okay I just came up with another reason why I don't want this.
You know those annoying Russian or Spanish kids who just feel like making their post in their native language, or those people in game who only speak French and don't want to bother learning English even though it's super important? If you have you'll know those kids are fucking annoying.
So if we don't want more of those, we shouldn't make this a thing. Let's give an example of a scenario that could take place if this was added: So since a lot of people will just speak their native language, they will only bond with people speaking that language. This will result in wynncraft having a split community, which we don't want.

 

1 - That's incredibly racist.
2 - Apparently we already have an issue like this on a smaller scale, and while we don't want to perpetuate it, catering to different language bases may increase playercount, and could nullify the issue anyways.

But if it really does create an issue, we could limit it to quests, and since currency, numbers, and item names are generally shared between languages, we could add a function to link an item in chat so hovering the cursor over it shows the ids and powders.
Then trade would still be possible.

 

Say shirt green instead of green shirt isnt wierd its just what you used to when I started learn english saying green shirt was wierd to me

 

I know, I was just pointing out how this guy needs help with going from german to english, while I've never seen someone french say that
