Health Bar In Party

I don't know if this suggestion is even meant for developers of WynnCraft and if it isn't just void this idea, but if it is maybe it's a good idea.?...!? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So I don’t know if anyone else has this problem or if it's just me and I'm a derp, but no mage has that split second reaction time when someone calls out in discord "Heal me! HEAL ME!!! …. Mage you’re a peace of s***".

I had that problem many times and it is starting to annoy me.

Therefore, my suggestion is that when creating parties and joining them, you would have a new section on the top left showing the health of your teammates. It doesn't have to be accurate just enough to know how low-ish they are.

For example: the health bar of your friend would be 9 hearts and only 3 of them would be red. It’s then that you know that your buddy is in some deep s*** and so you heal him.

Why I’m suggesting hearts instead of numbers is that numbers will look blank and on quick glances you won't really see the numbers that well (but that's just my opinion based on assumptions).

Why I’m suggesting top right corner of the screen instead of actual floating health bars above players is because (if you ever been in a situation like me (derp)) there are mobs constantly on your a** covering every inch of your screen, explosions, particles, effects, you name it. There is too much going on sometimes, that health above the player wouldn't work.

No, no. Don't be. I'm just saying, this suggestion already exists, and may be better than yours. I mean, it works and it partially isn't your fault, as you seem to be relatively new.

I don't want you to continue this, like OP said, but i'm motioning him to check out the thread and compare it, try and make it better. I'll change my approach on situations like this if you misunderstood.

Not everyone wants to use mods, the fact that you can play wynn without any mods is a big advantage for the server and the suggestion good as an idea.

Actualy it is!
I suspect it works the same way all the UIs work(correct me if I'm wrong i'm not a java programer (more of a PHP and C/C++/C#))
The UI works with gluing the interface to the screen and not following anything(at least that is how it works in Game Maker)
As oppose to the health bars of monsters, or anything else that isn't fixed on the screen

 

Ya but will it work with command blocks, Wynn doesn't use Plugins.
And can you even add more UI without mods?

 

Well i'm no genious so i don't know how command blocks work but i believe the UI can be written on screen like how the leaving/entering city is.
But no plugins what about the party system isn't that a plugin?
