    3 major updates have gone by, i want this to be added but.. its not looking too good,

    Which i think is bullshit because this suggestion is so easy and really deserves to be added,

    They had other more important things to release that required lots of time. THEY HAD TO MAKE A WHOLE PROVINCE. Give them two more updates then yell at me....

    lol 2 years is a lot of time, I would of waited another week for corkus if it had item locks, or another week for gavel, or another week for gameplay update,

    they could of added it in at any time,

    my point is suggestions are screwed over and no matter how many people support them they almost never get added,

    besides the boat suggestion i think that got added

    Alright, I don't mean to be rude but, have you ever dabbled in coding? It's a delicate process, it really is. Literally the most smallest piece of code can break the entire damn structure. And from recent news, we know that Wynncraft's current code structure is already really shaky, if it wasn't, we would never need a code refactor update, and item locks would be in the game.

    The Seaskipper was added because it required no 3rd party coding, as the whole thing is command blocks. As far as I know, pretty much the whole thing was made by Lotem.

    With any plugin feature even as small as item locks, after you program it into the game, you'll have to make sure it works properly multiple times.... make sure it didn't break anything... fix any bugs... make sure those bugs are fixed... make sure fixing bugs didn't break anything... etc. Who knows how long that will take compared to other things that are also possibly taking a long time because of bugs, things that are also making some fans impatient?

    With item locks it's not really a matter of if, because we know it's confirmed, but when, we know the admins have lots of things planned that we know nothing about, which means they have a schedule, which means they've inserted item locks somewhere into said schedule, but that unfortunately means it could be a little far down in the schedule because it's a tight fit and it's something a little different from a near-solo project that simply required command blocks.

    Coding something is not just a 5 minute process.

    yes i have no room to talk because i have never coded and its just numbers and brackets to me,

    But considering all of the other different mechanics there have been introduced (mostly in gavel)

    I think something like item locks would of been pretty easy to put into the game, as we probably would be fine even if they never made corkus,

    Its just a random island and like 4 new quests or something,

    i would rather have a community update with a ton of suggestions added (reworked if necessary) guild fixes etc new quests etc,

    rather then just a small province Island

    I would like to see a community rework update instead of adding new features and I'm pretty sure this is on their agenda at one point and I've been waiting 2 years for it

    They should add this, but in the "Wynncraft Enhanced", it already does. But it would be nice to not have to use a mod to lock our items I guess.

    This idea exsisted before wynncraft enchanced did (also there's a little note at the bottom of the thread that says we gave them permission to use it)

    100% of my support, but one question/thing to keep in mind. On death, the locked items drop like any normal, like they should, but do they remain locked? When they are picked up, should they be locked again or automatically un-lock? If they auto-unlock, doesn't this risk the item corrupting/de-identifying when unlocked? (but that's a more dev related issue)

    Also another consideration, maybe the message for locked items should say "place the item in a crafting table to unlock it" to help newbs out.
