We all know sprinting has been a problem since day one, and with the new bar it's gotten better, but we want to make it the best it can be, right?

So here are a few options.

Remove the bar and give us infinite sprint.
It was pointed out that sprint is only really useful in combat, for all other purposes there is no advantage to having infinite sprint, and the current bar is a nuisance.
And in reality the only mobs that would give you an advantage are slow moving ones, and you can move away from those at walking speed.

Increase sprint bar size and decrease regen time.
This simply adds to our sprint total, making it more practical.

Make a toggleable low sprint sound notification.
The sound would get consistently lower with each play.
Starting at 25%
Then 15%
Then 10%
Then 5%
Then 4%, 3%, 2%, 1%.
Then at empty sprint it plays a completely different sound.

A potion to increase the amount of time you can sprint for.
Potion I
Increases sprint duration by 50% for 50 seconds

Potion II
Increases sprint duration by 75% for 40 seconds

Potion III
Increases sprint duration by 100% for 30 seconds

Sprinting, sprinting, sprinting. Why is it so complicated? It's just one foot in front of the other, but faster!
I like the potion idea. And as for ganon's suggestion, infinite sprinting is cheap in PvE in most cases.

 

It's really not. You already have almost infinite sprint; that last step isn't suddenly going to make it overpowered. Sprint as it is is "cheap" in PvE already, making it infinite would only remove the annoyance of too-long wait times. Waiting to be able to move at half-decent speeds is not engaging, is not fun, and is not necessary. Removing it hinders nothing except for PvE, and in that case on a scale so small that it's insignificant nonetheless.

Smooth, nice movement is an important part of almost any game, and especially ones like Wynn.

 

Number 3 doesn't solve sprinting, but I support the rest

Since the sprinting bar came out I have never had any problem with it.

 

I'd love to see 2,3 and 4 in the game, but I'm really not sure about ganon's idea.
I get that it would be awesome to have infinite sprinting, but it may be a bit OP...

AND having endurance potions would add a small money sink. Also negative walkspeed builds will get stronger with the ability of sprinting forever, and those are usually pretty strong.

I personally think that the sprint bar needs no changes, as I've been fine with it since it was implemented. Although endurance potions would be a nice minor money sink (which we need).

1 and 2 are the most viable to me, imho, so I've hit my vote for them.

However!

1 is more viable than 2, for obvious reasons.

3 makes little sense to me, tbh.

And the potion? That's not going to even make sense either. As in, not be very useful.

If anything I'd rather have my own idea - go back to the old system. Then if we wanted we can use mana potions.

 

I never understood what is the problem with the sprint bar, I don't understand how you mess up so much with it, I rarely fall down to 0 with my sprint ._.

Tbh I don't have many problems, but I like to sprint parkour, while ignoring the repercussions.
All I really want is 3 and potions, nothing else is really mine.

1 is unbalanced, the fact that you like it without me having to do any further explaining tells me none of your opinions are unbiased beyond wanting to be overpowered.
Wynn is not creative mode for a reason.

It's mainly because sprinting doesn't need solving.
The bar is actually pretty good, and past level 34 you only need it for parkour.
Number 3 solves parkour.

Why didn't 3 get any votes?
Even if number two gets added, it will be useful.
And if they take my suggestion as it is, it will be toggleable.
There is no harm in it, at all, however for parkour, there will be much benefit in a notification system.

Ids have been shut down for reasons.

 

I can't see in any possible way how 1 can be op...
As unrealistic as an infinite sprint is the entire game is unrealistic, due to magic. That point is out of the window.
Honestly the infinite sprint would just cut out wait time and honestly make transport much easier, and assisting people who need to escape and have an easier time in... well... escaping.

The potion wouldn't really work for example what if you were broke?
We'd have the same problem except if you had some money to drop
