World Enduring Potion

I propose a potion that increases the duration of your sprint bar.

Why?
Well we can't use an Id because reasons.
A short time of increased sprint is better than increased sprint 24/7.
The sprint bar is annoying as it is.

Uses?
Pre Parkour so you can sprint the whole thing with ease.
Pre long run so you can sprint for longer as you travel.

Actual potions

Potion of Endurance I
Increases sprint duration by 50% for 50 seconds

Potion of Endurance II
Increases sprint duration by 75% for 40 seconds

Potion of Endurance III
Increases sprint duration by 100% for 30 seconds

 

The best way to solve the Sprint Bar problem is to remove it. Not try and edit it, not add features that modify it, just straight up deletion.

 

But then sprint runs on mana again.
Unless you're proposing it acts like a normal minecraft hunger bar when sprinting.
In which case, why not just make sprinting infinite?
(By the way the same thing can be said of guilds).

 

I'm proposing we remove the sprint bar and just have endless sprinting. At this point having downtime is just an annoyance and doesn't add anything to the game, nor would removing it take away from gameplay. CT members have expressed this feeling too, so it's possible that it happens eventually.

I'd say it removes the realism, since you can't really sprint forever without needing to take a breath, but in a game where you can run a marathon and then get your 'breath' back by eating a few whole roast chickens in a few bites, I wouldn't say we had much realism to start with.

Precisely. While a bit of realism is nice every now and then, when that realism simply becomes an annoyance with no real value, it shouldn't exist. Stamina in many games make sense, due to various reasons, but not in Wynn.
