Petition To Rework Tower Of Amnesia

Currently, the Tower of Amnesia quest is known to be grindy, painful, and not worth the reward. The quest itself had so much potential with the lore behind it, what if it was reworked?

This rework would be a total overhaul of the quest, making it have more of a storyline.
The quest could easily be centered around the lore of new recruits entering Wynn, for example:
The player is told to walk into the tower to conquer their past, upon walking in, they flashback to being on the outside of the city gates, about to get on a wagon pulling into Wynn from Fruma, but to get on the wagon they might have to fight off some mobs, or dodge branches, falling objects, etc. This would not only make the quest fun, it would also fully build the plotline of the recruits entering Wynn.

TL;DR Make the Tower of Amnesia have anything to do with amnesia.

 

While it is interesting, I'm fairly certain it was planned to have the player's story and origins discussed in Fruma. This suggestion may reveal information and twists earlier than the CT want

 

Meh, it's perfectly fine just as it is. How else are we going to challenge players to go to all of those places at least once? (j/k)

You don't have to go everywhere just go to nesaak and buy the scrolls there, and then go to selchar it takes 10 minutes

 

Why would you go to the two furthest points away from eachother.
Start at Selchar, goto Ragni, then Nemract, then Detlas, then Almuj, then Nesaak, then Troms, then TOA and turn them all in at once.

 

How dare you use logic!

 

Besides that, I kinda like the concept, but not this idea.
I do completely agree the quest needs a rework though, now it's just a fetch quest to give you a function already accessible through the skill point menu.

Nohno, the scroll merch at Nesaak sells almost all the scrolls

 

You don't need to go to Troms, or Almuj, or Ragni. I think the best way to do it is get Nenract, Detlas and Ragni in Nemract, get Selchar, and buy Almuj and Nesaak in Nesaak.

That's cheating.
Cheating is for quitters.

 

Which further gives a reason for this quest to be redone. Originally, this quest was there to encourage people to explore and "stretch their horizons" a little bit from just Detlas and Nemract surroundings. But now, you can just go to Selchar, go to Nesaak, and be done.

And, for perfectionists who have to finish every quest, this is just time consuming and boring.
