Bonestly, I agree with you entirely, but keep in mind these two things:
    1. Wynncraft is a different world maybe even universe to planet earth. It's a fantasy GAME, so don't expect everything to be similar.
    2. In mediaeval times cities were smaller anyway. Over the ages, what can be considered a city, town or village has changed. Small 2 building hamlets were considered villages in those times.
Bonus 3. In Wynn they're recovering and repopulating after the corruption wars

I really like the idea though and support it. +1

If you've ever been a starter player in the Dungeon Realms starter town, you get lost very easily because it IS half the size of Corkus Island. Ragni is a lot simpler than that, it's 3 direct paths with one very appealing path that leads straight to the Emerald Trail, the place we want the player to be.

It's not a good idea to compare Minecraft-based RPGs to real ones, for one simple reason; the scales are completely different. When it comes to size, it's much more difficult to create a large city that isn't riddled with issues. Hell, even building a decent house takes up more space and is more complex than it would otherwise.

To sum up the reasons, both mine and others', as to why this isn't a good suggestion; the faults completely overpower any benefits.

There's no balance to find; what they request and what is possible and the ramifications of that would make it as described. There's really no way around it.

TBH the cities in Skyrim aren't that big..

If cities are too big, people wouldn't know how to navigate it. Take Detlas, for instance. It's medium sized and it's really obvious where everything goes (which is a good thing). It's very intuitive and a new player would have no problem navigating it. Other cities take a little exploration (say.. Corkus City), but it's still small enough so that people won't get lost.
I've seen large cities in other maps, and when I join I have absolutely no idea where anything is. When I first came to.. say.. Rodoroc (which is large) I didn't get lost, and it was easy to find everything I needed. This is just my personal experience. While a large city would be awesome, I think it would also get very confusing, which is not a good thing.

Oh my god yes I do remember that town, it was so confusing!
There's also another town for the Mythril thingy server, which is also very confusing because I had to look for NPCs in such a large city
The Wynn build team are doing the cities JUST RIGHT

Personally i see more cinfras sized cities as the max, as long as you're used to how RPGs work it isn't really a problem.
