    Bigger Cities
Now, you are probably wondering - ''This man is mad with these stupid suggestions'' But I think this is a good one. If you've ever played a game like Skyrim or the Witcher, there are always large cities. Now in wynncraft, there are some alright sized cities, Like Corkus city, Llevigar, Rodoroc, Cinfras, but there is no LARGE - LARGE city. I mean something like a city which is half the size of Corkus island, and is massive, full of quests and new things to do. However something like this might already be underway and this thread will surely be ignored - but never mind about that. Currently wynncraft is a ''run around the wilderness till you find a quest - complete quest - go do another one in the wilderness'' and I believe that adding a large scale city, say one in the province of fruma (If it is ever released) would be very interesting. Well that's my opinion guys, tell me yours below :)
(Also before you say ''it'll take too long'' Im prepared to wait a year for a new area)

    Some lore I made up:

''..The province of Fruma is one full of great warriors, most being raised in the capital city, Agner. This city is large and prosperous, and is run by the Queen of Fruma, whose name is yet to be uncovered. It is said that many warriors were banished from this province for plotting against their queen. Their motive is still unknown today, as the queen has never been revealed to the public. Some speculate that there is no Queen of Fruma, but a large government which controls the province, aswell as who comes in and goes out. Agner is prosperous and full of life, with merchants round every corner trying to sell their goods, and is the largest city to ever be created by the famous architect *insert famous architect from a new quest.* However, there is a darkness that lies underneath the city, in the catacombs, and up in the palace, where the supposed queen spends here time..''

I agree with you both, a large scale city would be amazing. But I do think it isn't going to happen.

    Ok heres my lore.

It is said that many warriors were banished from this province for plotting against their queen. Their motive is still unknown today, as the queen has never been revealed to the public. Some of the quests could be helping out merchants in the city/meeting the queen *if there is one*/undercovering the ''darkness'' that I mentioned earlier/getting smuggled inside fruma etc.

One of the issues with this ws in Zentrela awhile back. Anyone remember Korwyn? It was about as big as you intended, and that in of itself was the issue. It was too big. Too long a time to cross, too confusing a layout. Even if it were jam-packed with content it still would have been ridiculously unwieldy and annoying to traverse.

I honestly believe that would not be too much of an issue. The whole point would be a a large city with alleyways and black-market merchants in those. I mean, it would want to be slightly confusing. In wynncraft there are horses/ws builds, and so it would not take such a long time to cross.

If it has to be up to the GMs and Builders, then it is not an acceptable suggestion. You see, game makers are afraid of losing their audience to new features. They want to know what the audience wants, so they can implement it with ease.

As Selvut had pointed out, bigger isn't always better. In general the added realism element from a larger-sized city just doesn't outweigh any sacrifices to the player's gameplay experience. If I have to spend 5 minutes of my time just to get from the bank to the edge of the city it's hardly going to be worth going outside of the city and exploring. Or at the very least, it'd make me want to try and go out on longer sessions so I'm not constantly going back and forth, which means I'd probably risk dying from lack of potions. Speaking of which, dying will also be aggravating because that just means it'll take even more time to get ready to get back to whatever I was doing.

We have to design our cities very carefully. If they end up bigger than they were meant to be, they can end up being a mess. Eltom, for example, was meant to be a smaller village but things got a bit out of hand and we ended up with a huge city that looked very good, but after release we realized it was a pain to travel through. Even in our biggest cities, such as Cinfras, Corkus City, and Rodoroc, we have some tricks to make sure that navigating is both simple and intuitive. Cinfras and Corkus City both follow the "center square with four paths" model, where the main plaza is in the center that has most of the essentials, and any extra buildings of importance tend to be down one of the four paths. The four paths also allow for easy traversal around the world surrounding the city. Meanwhile, Rodoroc is composed of three massive circles with all of the merchants, and most of the houses are on the walls, meaning that they don't get in the way of getting to the actual merchants.

Lastly, keep in mind how aggravating a place like Thanos is already. That's a fairly large city and it's an absolute pain all around. While that's partly due to its maze-like structure, in general it feels very oversized. So I feel like in general, big cities aren't a great idea for the type of game that Wynncraft is.

I just checked the map, and now see what you are talking about..
Im just wondering, have you ever watched or played a game called The Witcher 3?
Well, the main city (novigrad) is very large but you remember the whole layout after a little bit, and I think the made up city would be something like that.
