World ♦--buyable Totems--♦

We all now that totems are good for grinding. But, you have to buy a rank to get 2, 4 or even 6 totems daily.
That is not enough for some grinders.

Introducing buyable totems! These are almost like the regular totems but, these totem could be bought like the crates. (packs of 5, 10 and so on....) Although these are a bit cheaper than crates....

The totems work in an way that the triple the spawnrate in a 20 block radius. But also gives a bit of the exp from kills to the owner. For example if someone comes when you gathered and steal your kills and YOUR exp.. Thats why the owner of the totem gets a bit of the exp (almost like shared exp).

♦--TOTEM TIERS--♦​

Tier 1 : This tier is the basic tier. Just like the normal totems. Works for 5 minutes and does the triple spawnrate. It also adds the owner shared exp.


Tier 2 : This tier is the medium tier. Duration on this one is 7 minutes and it also gives triple spawnrate. Also adds the owner shared exp.


Tier 3 : The last tier is the high tier. Duration 10 minutes also adds triple the spawnrate. Also adds a bit exp bonus. (around 1.5 the exp) Also adds the owner shared exp! The radius on this totem is 25 blocks big.

Good idea mate!

 

Not a very useful feature, as totems you get from ranks only stay for a day. Either this would have to be changed which takes time or the bought totems stay for a day. Both are not preferable. Also saving up totems then becomes a thing.

Mmm, I'm good.. Just buy a rank. Different tier totems (maybe if you build some up from not using them instead of some going away they upgrade) sounds interesting but otherwise nah. I just donate to support the server anyways.

The Owner gets XP opens up for AFK grinding much like before the totem nerf.

 

It's more effective to just buy a rank. Plus, we don't want any Pay2Wynn features, do we?

 

This is likely not allowed by the EULA, as it allows for "Pay to Win" gameplay.
Also allows for idle grinding. Place one, leave for 10 minutes in a safe place, then place another.

 

Pay to win is making a return.
