Backpacks!

Here's an idea; Backpacks
The inventory is quite small and you need to be in a city with an e chest to access the bank. It would be great if there was a portable storage option to store all the unidentified weapons and armor picked up during our adventures instead of ditching everything that wasn't good enough on the floor somewhere. Backpacks obviously shouldn't be a free thing. Different sizes could be purchased with emeralds, the bigger the backpack, the more expensive it should be.
Is it possible - yes, it should be. There is a plugin for regular servers that adds in backpacks and is just a matter of install and play. Of course, you don't have to use that plugin and instead have the amazing coders write one up.
They do fit in with the whole Wynncraft theme and experience because what kind of adventurer doesn't bring a backpack on their journey? Backpacks or some kind of bag existed in medieval times and they exist in many fantasy films and stories. You don't have to call them backpacks, but some other name for portable item storage would work just as well.
On the off chance that someone of authority actually reads this, you guys have done a fantastic job on this server. Im only new, and it is one of the best mmorpgs I have played. Keep up the good work :)

Okay, let's read another one of the many suggestions.
What do the backpacks look like? How much will they cost? Where can you buy them? How many slots will they hold? It seems too simple and boring, can you add something more?
This is just another generic concept, and actually doesn't fit lorewise. If you look in your inventory you see that it's not an inventory, but instead a satchel. So, why hold a backpack AND a satchel? If you didn't know, a satchel is a little pouch with a strap that goes over your shoulder

 

Good point. As I said though, they might not be backpacks exactly by name. They could be called something else, idk what, but some sort of made up container thats magic or something and is like a tardis - bigger on the inside. I just like the idea of being able to expand inventory space because I have only been playing wynncraft for a few days and already find the lack of inventory space annoying. Yes, I do use my e chest and have expanded it to 4 rows but it is still full. I'm a bit of a virtual hoarder :P. But I guess they could be in tiers, like horses. You start off with one row, put two one row bags together to make a two row bag in the crafting thing. Maybe you could only buy the one row bags from a seller somewhere that is only accessed after doing a quest like with horses. I would imagine that they aren't very cheap either. a few ebs maybe. As for their appearance, in the regular server plugin, they are dyed leather tunics but that wouldn't really work with this. Maybe, like with many other things, retexture some useless block and rename it.

there is no reason for you to have a full inventory

 

Yeah, goodluck trying to find specific items with a bunch of potions,emeralds and mob drop items in your inventory
whilst a bunch of mobs dropping loot like crazy when grinding and mob totems

 

you don't need a lot of potions, there is no reason to carry emeralds if you are grinding and enabling you to carry more loot will just make the market flow with even more items (its already overflowing as it is)

 

Good point, but i was imagining more of what would happen if trying to grind loot and such

 

if you are grinding loot you don't need the potions or emeralds
if you are exploring you will have potions but no loot
if you are boss fighting you have potions but not loot
if you are in a city just tidy your inventory

i have 3 potions on me and my inventory fills fast ;-;
im not bringing loot i sell them lel, actually... i brought 3 uniques with me for no good reason while fighting CoW so, 1 problem for me i guess ;-;
Sometimes there are no banks in some cities :,)

oh and almost forgot the scrolls, cant forget the scrolls when doing certain quests amarite?

detlas, cinfras, <city in your level area>

 

keks, doe ToL doe, and another reason why i bring like 5 scrolls is i dont want to waste my time running from detlas to nemract to the ocean or from llevigar to olux to etc etc.

Get a horse

 

There is no need for more inventory space. Better banks will become all the more necessary as the server progresses, but we don't need more carry-on room.
