You've obviously never lost a game of chess against me.

 

My 99 archer is less than 10% away from 100, and i havn't used any of my donor classes for gameplay (i have 2 donor classes as bank space).

Prestige is something i agree with, only if it's worth it and is an option, not forced. And 101s should get a bigger bonus if they choose to go Prestige.

Spoiler: Some story of a dead server

When a server resets, it can ruin it completly. A dead server i used to play on, Crimson Moon (Reborn as Crimson Legends) reset and died as a result. However that one reset due to moving 1.7 to 1.8, not because of the economy (it was a survival server, trading was by villager vanilla style).

But i only mention it as of how usfull the past is, sure this server was small, and at a point I was it's only player, if not me and a friend, but it can happen to any server, just the likelihood of getting back up drops as the popularity or quantity of players drops.

At least wait till at least 80-90% of the community agrees to reset, that survey going on has 25% or something like that, better luck in 12025 H.E. i guess?

 

Actually guys, how do you want to Prestige a game that is not even ended ? If we Prestige we need to be at the MAX level, but the staff isn't even sure if there will be a Level Cap raise or not ...

 

How about making another server section called reset

 

I doubt it
a level cap raise would piss off all the people who worked hard for 101 and then there's the problem of becoming too OP
if you have 80% def at level 100ish then there's a cap raise it forces you to pursue rainbow builds or have the staff nerf def/int/whatever even further
if the 100 manual cap remains but level gets boosted then you end up with a sheer maximum possible of 251 for 100 in each and every stat

 

There are other options besides skill points.
There doesn't have to be a 'level cap raise', but maybe more damage/items for specific effects for completing things.

 

Oh man, what fun!
Let's look at some of the "fun" that us old players would have to do!

1. A bunch of low level quests that involve fetching things.
2. Solo grinding 'till level 39.
3. Redoing quests we already know how to do.
4. More solo grinding 'till a decent item appears.
5. Spending days on the forums trying to find parties to kill Bob, CoW, Death, Qira, etc.
And most importantly...
6. Ranting on the forums about said reset.

I'm done here.

 

If a prestige would happen I think it should be completely cosmetic.

 

I've had my archer for 3 years, right now it's level 94 and I've started leveling other classes while waiting for new quests. I would be very mad if over 3 years of progress was wiped to accomplish nothing because people were whining on the forums about money. I understand inflation is a problem, but reseting the server doesn't solve anything and only succeeds in pissing everyone off.

This will ruin Wynncraft entirely. People with level 1010 will be so infuriated from this. People who have worked YEARS to get to high levels (me, but I took some long breaks) will rip the teams apart. Wynn would end up to be a ghost-town by then if they ever did this.

No offense, but this is probably the worst idea I have seen in a while. There is a reason why there is options to reset classes and not to force restart. Forcing players to play in a certain way is downright unfair and cruel, and Wynncraft is not that.

I'm with all the people against the reset. The number of people who would leave would, without a doubt, be astronomical. And with so many people leaving the server, RIP Wynncraft. OK yes, I would mostly agree that the economy being reset has it's advantages, but not the whole server. As most have said, all the people who spent hundreds of $$$ would have wasted their money if it gets reset. I respect your opinion Unocake, but I disagree.

And looks at the time pre-gaveler did for grinding when xp doesn't drop as much as now and pbly a little boring quest 1-75 back then were probaly even harder than 1-100 now..

 

Honestly, I do not think there really needs to be a reset. If you really wanted to restart yourself in wynncraft you could just delete your class. Just because some people want a reset on the server doesn't mean that everyone does.

 

This should go in @$#*Post Plaza, wynn doesnt need a reset.
