World Download Wynn Craft

So it's been a while since I have played Wynn Craft or just Minecraft in general but I remembered this server for the amazing world it gave us as players and I was thinking it would be really nice to be able to take that world with me even if I didn't have the internet. I would be curious if it would work fully just by downloading the world or if the server is set up with certain programs and alterations so that could potentially be a problem. I also see a big problem with players going through the world in search of those super hidden chests that maybe no one's found (I'm not sure if there is any left as I haven't played in a couple months). But I'd really appreciate having the ability to play Wynn Craft on the go as it's essentially its own whole new game and would be really fun to play while traveling with my laptop. Another really cool feature would be you wouldn't have any server lag which is a big problem with the servers, at least in my view. Anyway, I have no clue about the feasibility or functionality of doing this but I feel it could be worth looking into.

 

Downloading the Wynncraft as a world would not work, and is illegal

 

They have custon plugins, which means it's a server wide thing, meaning it isn't possible.

I'm srry, but that is, and will probably always be illegal.
It would allow for map exploits and spoil alot of secret-y secrets

There are many reasons why the map isn't downloadable and I'm going to state two of them,

Stealing:
Someone can use the map on their own server and take credit for the map instead of credit to Wynn.

Abuse:
People can use the map to find hidden secrets that may lead to big story plots and plot hole fixings and easter eggs that have yet to be discovered, and this just ruins the fun of the game for others.

 

Basicly you wanna see an offine mode for Wynncraft or solo player option?

Yeah, here's how you do that:

2. Minecraft has to implement an option for offine server support and to do that everyone would have to deal wih 1.9 combat.
3. Notice this could or may be able to be done if Wynncraft was it's own game and not a server.
4. Get huge game dev company without an MMORPG released to make this into it's own game apart from Wynn
5. Cross fingers for offine support.

This is just a really bad idea, i would be all for a standalone game, but with the size of Wynn that would take months of hard work

 

Hmm, I've been reading into different threads regarding Wynncraft being "Downloadable." What if the devs took a little bit of time (probably not a little, but you get the point) to remove/remake some parts of the map to make it singleplayer compatible, and also have some sort of copyright feature on the map once its downloadable? Just a suggestion, and I am 99% sure there's going to be some guy who points out a mistake in my idea.
