Reset Wynncraft

In my opinion wynn should be reset. A lot of high levels might be getting bored and the server has been up for 4 years and hasn't been reset. The reset would allow new players to have a nice fresh start with a lot of other people to party up with. It would allow the economy to die down so items aren't stacks of le for a while. At a high level (mainly lvl 90+) the game gets repetitive because all you are doing is grinding for a long time until you a get 1 quest which doesn't give that much of a head start to the next level. Resetting wynn would allow old players to have more fun and new players to get a fresh start with other people.

 

Should it be reset? Yes. Will it? No. The community backlash would be massive, and it's one of the worst business decisions they can make at this point in time.

 

Despite this, I support the idea of a reset. +1.
I do feel like some changes need to be made to the economy anyways, a reset would be a good way to do so.

 

What would be better is just opening a different server that's an exact copy of wynn, but would be fresh
Then we can keep all of our stuff on the older server, but start new if we wish
Admittedly this will cost a lot of money :/

 

Think of all the backlash from the people who ruined family and personal relationships spent many hours getting to level 101 (And 102 back when these were a thing). Also Legendary weapons. And LE. And Guilds.

 

If the server reset, I leave why, I reached level 100 3 days ago, I play since 3,5 years, why I level up so slow ? Because I've not much time in my life to come here, and for an other reason, I always have something to do in Wynncraft other than grinding because I follow my own path and I explore everything the provinces has to offer to us.

 

The pure salt and anger from a reset would destroy the community and the game in one swift blow, with the only good part being a theoretical fix on the economy, this would just be taking 1 step forward and 60 steps back.

 

People who suggest everyone loseing their money are always the ones with the least to lose

 

Or you could always join a new server... and how would the people who spent money on this game feel about it, you included? And how much time do you think the DEVELOPERS spent on it, and how the veterans would feel seeing their hard work go to waste? At this rate, it would be 4200 when Bloomi comes out... do you really want to forget about it, and start over? And Corkus? Corkus came out recently, and that's enough content to last us for about 5 sec- i mean, 2200 years until Bloomi. Then again, the guild fixes are before that, and so many other things need to be done.

Then again, there's always zentrela!!!!...

And actually we can create a new class if we want to restart so for me this idea can go to trash, if the economy is broken it's the fault of some greedy players. Finally I'm not going to throw this thread to the trash, I'm going to throw the greedy players to the trash.

 

People who already finished every quest would know how to do it and it would be boring to do it all over again

Other argument, some peoples bought 100$ (Even more possibly but I know someone who did at least 100$) of items bombs, this significate stuff that you want to delete with a reset, go give them back their money if you want ! :D

So you have no numbers just that there "might" be "a lot"? Also the fact that it hasn't had a reset could be viewed as a great thing.

Yeah but that is by no means a perm. solution and there are most likely way better ways to fix the economy then a total reset.

How would resetting Wynn allow the old players to have more fun? I've only leveled up three times and I'm already bored of all the low level quests, so redoing it sounds like a nightmare.

Also as @AlexisPlay pointed out is that you can just make a new class if you truly wanted to restart at level 0.

I'm going to tell you one thing, and it's gonna be blunt, just warning you... Nobody cares what your opinion is. Think about this. Will any players return after a reset? Will any player quit after a reset?
