A Simple And Lazy Way To Fix - Pvp

    Half all damage players deal to players and further half the elemental defences in PvP

    Why?
    There are two prominent problem in PvP, players one shot other players, and unkillable tanks. I'm not going to tackle into the problem of cactus and poison builds here coz that just complicate things.

    Wynncraft is 99% PvE game, spells and damages are designed to damage 500k hp bosses, not a 10k hp player. So most people just one shot the players, forcing people to build rainbow defence and tanks, which brings me to the next point. Rainbow tanks are basically a product of poor calculation in elemental damages and defences. These mechanic are not a problem in PvE situation, but again, in a good PvP game (not wynn), you simply don't one shot people or be immortal. I'm not even going to get into the lack of skill based parry and everything mostly base on RNG coz its just a minecraft server. (add a shield that lets you deploy every so often to half damage maybe)

    What does this "fix" do?
    By halfing all the damage players deal to players (including spells, melee, poison and wets). This forcefully make the duel longer, which seems like dull and pointless but that eliminate the problem of one shotting, to two-three shots. Which doesn't seem a lot at first glance, but actually when you're not getting one shot by others, much more skills are at play to make you survive and damage the opponent. Turning a PvP duel experience into more skill based and not RNG or luck based.

    Further halfing elemental defences seems counter intuitive to what I just said, but infact that makes elemental tanks much more susceptible to damages so they are less immortal. On the other hand, if you don't have much elemental defence at the first place, you won't have much big of a problem and the damages you take wouldn't change much anyways.

    Why suddenly make this suggestion?
    To compliment Selvut's nerfs and rebalances coming, less all rounded damage tanks should exist and people would be directed to maining one or two elements, if not a rainbow build. There won't be much in between, and thats the between part thats mostly the problem in PvP (ofc theres cactus and poison those cancer #nerfpoison) Also to prove that actually this age old question can be dealt with on a simple way as well.

    Is this idea perfect and usable? No, its just an suggestion. From the fact that wynncraft doesn't bother to look into PvP we know that it isn't much in the devs' eyes, so a simple and lazy fix is needed so they can feel like oh shit we can make people happy by doing this and that. Is halfing damages and defences enough? Might not be, but further testing is required, who knows if the devs actually take this idea in mind might PvP might actually be fun.

    Before you roast me in the comment remember this is just a simple and lazy way to fix PvP, not the best and all-rounded way.

    How about we remove PvP entirely, we'd be better off without it. No more duels, no more Nether. Make friends, not rivals.

    I've tried pvping in the nether before I'm not sure if it was just the tims of day but there was almost no one, except the odd level 30 who wandered in, died, and left.

    Honestly I don't think anyone really cares about PvP, you play Wynncraft to do quests, not duel people, a the moment some classes are much better than others at PvP depending on what level range your talking about, there would have to be some pretty major changes to make PvP worth anything. I don't really know what i'm talking about rn, I just grinded mobs for 2 hours and its around 1:30 AM, plus I just had a super busy day yesterday, so let's just say I cant think very well right now... I just saw this post and wanted to throw my (sleep deprived) two cents in.
