Ex For Fining And Exploring

Go into detail: (Im am going to use another game example sorry) In Xenoblade Chronicles you get exp for finding areas around the world and I though this would be a good idea for wynn why? https://theprincessutopia.wixsite.com/uniatq/single-post/2017/03/04/secrets-are-everywhere I just find it to be more exciting and happy when i get rewarded for exploring it just feels good and awesome and i love finding really cool stuff everywhere its just fun, and cool.
2. Is it possible? Yes you can use command blocks to execute the commands when you step into a certain area.
3. Does it fit? Yes it makes it so much more fun because (again https://theprincessutopia.wixsite.com/uniatq/single-post/2017/03/04/secrets-are-everywhere ) There are so many secrets in wynncraft and it would help players who are stuck with levels or just people exploring.
4. Has it been suggested before? Not much of really I haven't seen any thing like it and I when back like 10 pages

Yes. By me. I suggested this exact suggestion with Proof of Concepts and detail-a-plenty a good time ago and it wasn't added. It got plenty of supporters, but it was ignored.

There's nothing wrong with this suggestion, as long as it's balanced, but sadly it looks like it won't be added, since it's been ignored before.

Nope like i said in the xenoblade sense you get exp once per finding and extra exp for secret areas ONCE

But I never played this Xenoblade thing before, so how would I know? You can't just reference another game and expect us all to get the concept. You have to actually describe every aspect and detail in your suggestion.

 

While this is true, look at the wording; find. As in, discover. You can only discover something once. After that, it's been found, and you know where it is.

 

Yeah, I guess that was a reading mistake on my behalf. But still, you have to describe the concept yourself. And a suggestion like this requires more detail. How much xp would you get? Would the xp you get be determined by the player level or the area level? What kind of areas are we talking about, like hidden caves or just finding a Wynn/Gavel town for the first time? I shouldn't have so many questions after reading a suggestion.

 

Uhh, I'm 100% sure anyone making a suggestion isn't doing it for an infinite exp farm, feel free to assume some things, we shouldn't have to spell everything out for you.

Probably mission level exp for the level of the area vs/level of mobs missions near that town.
(Ex a level 15 zombie mission gives like 150 exp, finding a level 15 area will give 150 exp).

Depends on how deep they went.
My personal preference is just the major areas for lower exp, and then secret t3 and t4 chest spots.
(This gives them a reference list to work on.

As for the actual suggestion, it's a great idea and I would love to see it implemented, but there are a few flaws with the concept itself.

Either they're only going to do a few major areas, and it's going to be relatively useless, or they're going to do a lot of small areas, and it's going to be a ton of worldguarding. The long, boring, monotonous kind, that will drive the devs insane.

There needs to be some sort of balance, but that's going to be hard to find.

Besides that, perhaps add a 'map book' to the thread, basically just a list of the areas you've found.
(Like the quest book, an ingame list).

7 is fiora after she becomes a face according to the fandoms but in order to avoid spoilers they call her 7 being the 7th party member she has different stats after becoming a face as well and that is why i prefer old fiora over the face fiora.
