Resource Pack Login Time Fix

Now I'm probably not the only one that has this but still I'm making a post. This is mostly for people like me that don't have $2000 computers that instantly load the resource pack this idea could help a lot of players. What wynncraft needs to prompt the resource pack (Make it load in) on the hub right when u join in instead of when u join a world. Hopefully someone can take notice of this. SuperCool out.

 

This is a good idea, sure, but it's been suggested before. Not only that, but this won't "fix" login times for the resource pack, just make it so that the time it takes when joining a world is removed, and therefore less dangerous.

It will also mean that as long as you don't actually disconnect, it stays loaded, so it's not like:

Actually the load time depends more on the speed of your internet connection. Also, making the resource pack load in right as you join to the hub would most likely drive the new people away from the server since they'd think the server doesn't work.

 

You should /toggle autojoin
To on, it helps a little bit

 

It's happened to me when I had my old computer, 3 times in a row ;~;

Actually /Toggle Autojoin might kill you if you are standing near mobs since it teleports you directly to were you left ingame instead of the tutorial area and you can not move while loading the pack.

How could they not log in?

 

The default setting for MC is to give a prompt for the resource pack, so first timers would get a prompt.
And really if they're gonna change that setting they're gonna know about texture pack load times.

 

Something I forgot to mention is this: the hub loading the pack instead of when u join in the world makes it so if the server is restarting when u join u get kicked out and the server has to take off the loaded pack then re load it (I don't know if im the only one but when that happens I lag out because of it taking off the pack and putting it back on)

Yeah, but for me it takes a few minutes(sometimes one), and the game is telling me I'm loading a pack

 

I actually just got a better idea.
You can find the wynncraft resource pack in your minecraft's "server resourcepacks" folder. Then you can copy it to normal "resourcepacks" folder, enable it and disable server resourcepacks. That eliminates the load time entirely because the pack is already loaded. (Sorry if it's a little bit bad explanation)
